We all understand the frustration when you are in this situation but you made the right thing!! Way easier to climb a bit to make a new take off than to have to climb down the tree and recover your wing...
It's a fairly flat launch there and I didn't get into my speedbag immediately after the start. I lost some height unnecessarily. And because of the westerly wind that came over the trees there, I came into turbulent air. Landed softly thanks to the snow. 😅
I see that pilot goes downwind over the top. It seems like keeping right (upwind) side by turning right or back at 0:05 should've been the better option.
Das war auf der Standflue im Berner Oberland, Schweiz. Ich hab zusammen gepackt und bin wieder hochgelaufen. Ich war froh mit dem Schnee, sodass ich sanft im Lee der Bäume landen konnte. 🙂 Du hast coole Videos auf deinem Kanal. Habe abonniert 👍
@@annejanroeleveld Ich kenne die Region, obschon ich genau da noch nie geflogen bin. Mich hatte es damals im Jura erwischt (Venturieffekt, zu nahe am Hügel gekreist, und im Lee der Bäume gegroundet. Aber zum Glück auch sanft.) Cool, dass du wieder hochgelaufen bist... Danke für's Kompliment und das Abonieren. ;-)
