This was definitely one of the funniest episodes. I’m glad you guys set the 3800 community straight with those raggedy cars and unnecessary modifications. It’s embarrassing to the nice and clean 3800 vehicles.
Let’s be real, without a pedal commander the car lack %1.5 seconds of acceleration,,, back in the 90’s the cars came with a cable when everyone could enjoy the horse power and torque of the car came with but now a days they make cars with those electronic throttle 😂 which make the car choke for 1.5 seconds , the pedal commander doesn’t not add any horse power but the car runs way better with it 😊
I owned a 2000 back when I was a teenager. Looked very similar to that. Red 2 door coupe. I had some performance upgrades but nothing quite this extensive. My supercharger whine was obnoxiously loud. It was great. I loved that car and wish I still had it.
Did somebody in the crew used to have a buick lhu? I'm dying to see the road to 400 lhu buick!!! Seems like we only get to see the cars the crew has for the obvious reasons. Understandable. Still wanna see a lhu video! Go fast fellas!
My z04 sonic is by far the funnest car I have, and I have many. Tim did a great job tuning it, and I'm sure I'm not done with it yet! Great job awesome video!
Im really really suprised you didnt mention the flywheel on the manual. I had a 14'rs. That flywheel was so heavy you couldnt shift quick because the engine would spin faster when you let off. I hated it
Glad to see ZZP still in the game! Had plenty of your parts on my 05 Cobalt SS. Sadly those parts went into the wall with the car 😂 maybe an ATS-V in my future 💪
Realistically in a quarter mile an LSD isn't going to be a huge gain. With a good tire you don't really have to worry about a "one wheel peel" situation, especially in a RWD car and on a prepped track. I would love an LSD for the twisties, but it does great in the quarter mile as-is.
There really shouldn't be any reason that a spring install should cause issues with the traction/ESC system. I would double check the wheel bearing ABS connectors, but I personally don't have any issue without the front hubs picking up signal (I currently have a wheel bearing with a broken tone ring sensor and the car drives just fine). You may need to get a Tech II or similar scanner on the vehicle to scan the BCM codes and see what is actually upsetting it.
@@gbrunner24 I’m thinking it’s cuz the bouncing but before my esc was completely off and after installing them and reconnecting the abs the esc came on again then started making my car brake /slow down by itself
@@justintillman5630 you would probably make more running e85 or race fuel... That in the fact that a mustang dyno always read lower than a dynojet so really that's not bad at all!
The green one making 330whp is on a forged block, but isnt required, the purple one in the background is making 310whp on the stock 100k+ mile block with no worries.
My 2012 lt 1.4 is full zzp performance, 395 HP i destroyed 4 GTIs so far who pulled up not knowing what they were up against because the body is stock color but the last guy looked at me with a shit eating grin until i revved up the zzp 3 inch exhaust and i wish i was recording it because his face went from a smile to a ohhh shit then bam left him at the light, my 12 sonic is by far the best car ive ever owned and ive owned a 90 mustang GT and 87 IROC
Yes, we already have CAI, Full exhaust, Flex fuel, and an intercooler available for it. We have two larger turbo options in the works, one late summer release, and the other probably next summer.
YES! Max 1.4 Video! ZZP Full Build on my Cruze from the Block Up. I love to drive this car every day now and am thinking about another beater to keep it off the roads in winter. Working with Tim at ZZP to build and tune this car has been a blast. Always looking for the next performance modification to come out of the ZZP "Skunkworks" This fall I will be upgrading to the ZZP coil-over setup. Upgrade the breaks early. Worth every penny, especially after upgrading and tuning with the Z04 Turbo.
