@@chucklesthefireguy5356 the pro4x is a nice truck but wont go nearly as far offroad and not hardly any aftermarket support. It all depends on what you're after.
@@dadspeed227 oooh its a change! Lol scary at times but very fun. I'm really enjoying it. The tricky part is going from one to the other. When you've been on quads for 3 weeks then you hop on the dirt bike it's very foreign again
you dont miss the ventilated seats and spacious cabin? im looking at this and a sierra 1500 at4x... i found the ones im looking at for similar prices. prices are dropping like crazy where im at.
@@TryingYourLvck not gonna lie the space and ventilated seats were nice! I dont miss the payment though lol This gladiator does everything I need it to right now. One day I may get back into a full size truck but it'll never be that expensive again. I just cant justify 70k
@OdysseyOffroad yea that decrease in payment must be nice. i read online you can buy after market ventilated seats for the gladiator. i forgot the brand name but everyone in the thread was praising them. so theres always that.
@@TryingYourLvck to me the more important thing to have would be the heated seats. On the long rides it's nice, my back tends to get stiff on long trips in any vehicle. Heated seats are a nice addition that's easy enough to add I may do something like that.
I’ve been riding my 2014 scrambler 1000 for a couple years. The guy I bought it from had it set up for gncc type racing. I took it down to the frame and replaced all the bearings, bushings, etc. absolutely love it. It’s been bullet proof and I’m not easy on it. I would love to try a can am though. Kinda looking at a Polaris outlaw 525 with the independent rear suspension as well. I’ve got a few videos on my channel of the type of riding I do on my page. Great video!
@@Apothas541 awesome that you have good luck with the older one. Hopefully the newer scramblers hold up as well. I had an outlaw 500irs new in 06 and i loved that thing!
Yeah man whatever fits your needs is most important I feel! Some people overpay for features or trucks they really never use. I love my 22 JT Moj, yeah I could of gone zr2 but for every reason you gave I went jeep 💪🏽💪🏽
The lack of auto-on/off headlights: The dealer programmed it for me so that you leave the headlights on, and then click lock twice on your remote and it turns the lights off when you leave the car.
@@lovethomassowell yea they will go off on there own after 30 seconds of shutting the car off but they will run all day if left on. True Auto headlights I have a photocell sensor on the dash and when it gets too dark outside the lights kick on and when it's light enough they shut off. That's not something the dealer can program.
I feel like the 150R is the perfect trail bike. Plenty of power without being so much you kill yourself and small and light enough to flick around pretty good
Videos 3 year old now, I've always had a honda and love gear control, in the market for a cvt, I most do technical trail climbing. How would you say you trail riding experience has been, and going from a complete stop to and instant climb do you have the ability to control and feel the machine still. Know what it wants and needs to get up? Or is it less communicative than a hondamatic?
@@colestanger5510 of you never owned a cvt before its much different. But it's not a bad thing. The Renegade lineup are awesome trail machines. This 570 is no longer made. It's either a 650 or a 1000 now only. If you are doing truly hard technical trails you may want to look into something that has a front differential lock also like the Yamaha grizzly.
You were looking at the same bikes I’ve been looking at. I think I’ve decided on the CRF250F like you. Although I wanted one that weighed about 240#’s or less. But didn’t want the 125cc bike. My main reason for choosing it is the fuel injection. My riding is mostly in Texas at around 1000fsl. Or in the summer I’m riding in Colorado at 8-10k fal and didn’t want to have to rejet the carb twice a year. Hopefully when I get Bach home I can find a great deal on one as well.
Idk how you’re average that high of MPG. My new 2023 STOCK Mojave averages 15-16MPG. Mainly 15s. That’s what it says at least. But I fill up around after 350miles driven as my previous gladiator rubicon I had which I averaged 18-20MPG stock. I thought it was because it was new the MPG would be low. But now I’m at 11k miles and it still 15-16MPG. Any ideas? Thanks
It is a rocket ship though haha, The whine is the cvt. You don't hear it with an exhaust lol i think the canam is a better built machine personally. I love my scrambler for the suspension but i dont jave the confidence on it like i do the renegade. That renegade has 1200 miles on it and is still like brand new. My scrambler already has worn out suspension components and loose steering. It's definitely a give and take with the polaris.
@@leedimatteo5078 steering stem bushing is shot it's only 700 mi on it there was at least of an eighth of an inch slop replaced it with jay parts unit. Also the drag link has a bunch of slop on it. I'll be replacing that next. Not uncommon issues.
@@OdysseyOffroad good to know thx, i bought a few things from Jay Parts, one being the cvt vent tube with the cage end, i had a mouse build a condo in mine, lol
@@Justin-os2zc well I have a video comparing the Scrambler and the Renegade on my channel you can check out here . I own both machines ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lrVXqkDQpDQ.html

Can arms are the worse to service. I had outlander max XTP 1000r, I sold it after three years, because 1- engine gets way too HOT! 2- servicing it was a nightmare, you literally need 10 different wrenches. Went back to a Honda and all I need is a 10 mm and a 17mm and everything is easy to get to.
My first run absolutely sucked lol 😂 slid way to far wide but still a blast. Would have been fun to go back whole long jump and everything was going on and see how fast we could have gotten it done as a group
The couple atvs that participated in long jump barely left the ground that I saw. That was pretty catered to sxs's. Maybe the mud bog next year? Snorkels anyone??
