Aside from these steps, are there any other required paperwork that can be prefilled out to save time at counter…or is this all thats required? Thank you!
@@vbnautical5041 ty. There is a immigration forms that you could fill out ahead of time if you have them if not, you have to wait till you get there to get those forms. I have yet to see where they’re online and usable. If you plan on going back so you can take back with you.
@@jamesdunn3387 thank you. I am starting my Charter business again. If you could share my web site on your social media and friends would be fantastic Captainrichcharters.com. Thank you
I enjoyed watching your video. I do have a question. I’m boating over (Captain) I’m staying in Bahamas for 2 weeks. I have couple “A” boating over and flying out the first week. Couple “B” flying in and boating back the second week. I’m thinking I should put couple “A” ’s info on the cruising permit and enter in couple “B”’s info on the CBP Roam app for exiting the Bahamas, provide both couples with a copy of the cruising permit for proof to show customs in both countries their coming and going. Or do you have a different suggestion. Thanks in advance for your help.
You mention that after you validate etc, you can make a payment,... But I don't see an option to make a payment after submitting all the information. It just says "pending payment' and no options to actually make a payment. Does it take a few days before it gives me a payment module?
In the menu side of the program. You will see a payment option. Go there and make the payment. It will direct you to the payment page. Then once you complete the payment go back and print the one page custom form and that is what you will show the customs agent.
Great video! Sorry if I missed it or this has already been asked - once you put in your dates for arrival if the dates change will I need to redo the form? How soon should I fill all this out - day before trip or week before?
great Tutorial!! thank you.....if I know the date for my Outbound from Bahamas should I fill that right after inbound??...Also, coming back to the US, can I avoid go into a us customs, by calling a phone number or radio in somewhere?? thanks again!!
Thank you. Yes on your question about the inbound. You want to use an app call CBP Roam to enter back into the USA. It’s really easy and recommend using this. You can download the app from your App Store. Reach out if you have any questions. Biminirich@gmail.com
We had to cancel our trip due to lock issues and I requested a cancellation in Click2Clear. I paid for the permit by credit card and when I go through the refund request it doesn't give an option to have the funds returned to the card. Any experience with the refund process?
I don’t have any experience but what I understand they issue you a credit for future travel. Check this link out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n2fWLVlbiNM.html Also I would call the help line. List on the web site.
EXCELLENT INFO - One Correction - "Intended Date of Departure" is for when vessel exiting Bahamas, that's how web site determines whether 3 month or 1 year permit is issued. Thank you for the information lots of help doing my application today...
You mention making sure you have SeaTow when you go to Bimini. I have BoatUS for the same purpose. Does it matter which you have for Bimini? Or is it just important to have one of them?
I am pretty sure they go over that way. I would reach out to them and make sure. What you have to do is get towed out a mile of so for them to pick you up.
Do you have to have a printer onboard?. Or can you fill this out ahead of time?. And if you do this at home ahead of time and your weather window changes how do you update and reprint while waiting for a new window on board?
You can print it out ahead of time. I normally don’t complete it until I know for sure the day that I am going to cross. So I never had to go back and re print.
@@richardpowers988 thanks for the quick reply. My concern is that I will be waiting at Rodriguez key for a crossing and with no printer on board and possibly no internet connection, what happens if I arrive outside my travel dates? What I would like to do it fill it out before leaving home and estimate the dates but don't want to feel pressured to travel the steam because of it.
@@jscottr330 the last trip I went on Wie delayed a a day, and had no issues getting in as they understand about windows do the weather. I think, as long as you’re in your time that you’re going to be in the Bahamas then I think you should be fine
We always declare our gun and bullets since we started going in like 1994. Lately they have been coming to the boat to verify it, but that is about it.
It’s official we are heading back to Bimini. We will leave Port Everglades on or about July 31/Aug 1 and return on Aug 7/8. If you are interested in follow us let me know.
Not sure why. Everyone else seems to be ok. I just checked it and I am at a lx game and can hear it over the crowd. If you have any questions please give me a call or email
Great video and thanks for doing this. You mention fishing license. If you come over on a boat and check-in that way, you pay the boat entry fee, $150 up to 28' I think it is, it includes fishing license for the boat up to 4 people.
