Is this a video channel to make fun of and put down someone? If you think the video is not worthy of your praise before uploading it, then don't publish it. Anyway, you are rude. The singers you praise are probably people like Whitney Houston and Billy Joel. Since your mind doesn't seem to have progressed at all since the 80s, I would advise you to learn that there are many different expressions in the world. If you insult singers you don't like for your own self-satisfaction, then you are not a professional vocal coach and should stop calling yourself a coach.
You don't seem to understand anything, so I'll tell you. Not all singers need to have the vocal talent of Adele or Celine Dion. TK has a voice that only he can express. If you judge it based on your own arbitrary values, your view of the world is too narrow. You should watch more singers from around the world and learn what kind of expressions they have. An amateur vocal coach like you has no right to say anything.
You guys clearly don’t know what you’re talking about, every other vocal coach that I’ve seen react to this song has understood the simple thing that he is purposely singing in an unstable way. “Singing unstable on purpose” they said. It fits the lyrics, it fits the anime. He has immense talent. I am disappointed yet again that you are unable to recognize that.
She is not alone doing this you know. I can count of 9 bands with female growlers just like that.... Arch Enemy (both Angela and Alyssa) AD Infinitum Once Human Daedric.... The list goes on 😂😂
as an Artist that works in a different creative field, I want to say that after watching both of yalls TK video, that I send you guys many hates. I don't think you understand that artists doesn't always need to follow the "rules" that the field has set up, art is a creative field and I think you should understand that before making more videos on sensitive topics like art.
@@pau8334 The definition of hate in sense of you use it is not really what I was doing here, I was more criticizing their takes and reminding them that they have no real place in the art space if they don't understand what art is.
@@pau8334 dont worry mate, I dont need any attention for my side channel that I use to comment under videos, yes from my side I send hate, but my definition of hate isnt the same, it has a reason, but you try to frame me as I just hate cuz I am a hater, its not the same.
@@wivyYA if you’re not hating and attention seeker, then just leave your TK comments to TK’s perfomance reaction. Stop commenting the same sh*t to every other video. Anyway, this will be the last time that I will be giving you the attention you want. Enjoy your life.
It’s the boys! If you karaoke you might have to drink. Pinoys think that you lack courage that’s why you cant sing. So theyll get you drunk. So you’ll be BRAVE. You have to eat a ton of food to make you STRONG. Brave and strong you can now sing! Nothing should stop you from karaoke-ing at home. Alone. It’s good training.
All these triggered, ignorant weebs that have no idea on anything to do with vocals trying to acting like they have any right to criticize them for their honest reaction to a bad singer kinda piss me off. Really easy to tell nobody in this comment section has ever had any musical training. Everyone pretending they have any idea what theyre talking about just so they can defend their triggered take caused by the fact that some people dont like the same things they do. So childish.
@wivyYA if you aren't an artist, you can't comment on art. Art requires musicality and technique. Doesn't matter if you have one without the other, if you even know what these terms mean. Everyone in these comments are just throwijg ariund these vague generalized terms and phrases about art to interpret it in a way that suits them so that they can continue spouting their hate while hiding how ignorant they actually are. Because let's be honest, you have no idea about any of the intricacies of art. Your statement is correct, but you don't know why. If you're going to hate on them, at least do it while being upfront on your ignorance.
@@junheecho9800 I am literally a professional artist doing work, I don't know why you would assume that I'm not an artist? In any case, you can put these reaction people already in a drawer after they criticized his literal voice, I am sorry but that was the stupidest take I have ever heard in my entire life. Mr Kitajima made a band way back in 2002, and he was doing music even before that, this man has knowledge and experience in his field, and he has a really wide audience, this alone should already tell you that Mr Kitajima is doing something right, just because you don't like his art doesn't mean he is bad in it. The only criticsm I hear is "yeah but he isn't doing it like that" or "His voice is not good for music" and other stupid takes that has no real substance in a discussion, and if you seriously also think that his voice is just not good enough or he does sing wrong, you should also leave the space of art, because takes like that have no space in the Art world where different things are necessary to push the world forward.
@wivyYA apologies then if you are an artist, but I do want to ask which form? They criticized his voice, its their jobs. See, im a pianist and the way i see it, its hardly any different from a lesson, so if youre really an artist youve either had elmo as all your judges and teachers, or youre lying and acting like these people killed god because they didnt like the same thing you did. There are obviously stylistic differences between artists and the way they sing but there are still tangible that we can point out are obviously wrong. They criticized his singing technique, larynx up, tight jaw, tight tongue, etc. TK is famous so he is definitely doing something right, but I don't think that's his singing but rather his songwriting. Along with the fact that bad technique usually doesn't bother the general mass. Again, you keep throwing around these claims about "no substance" or "takes like that have no space in the art world", but with nothing behind it I find they have very little substance from my point of view too. Also, you think that I'm doming tk coz I "don't like" his specific "style" of art and then turn around and say that I don't belong in the world of art because of my views on his, which i find pretty hypocritical. Yeah I find everything you're saying extremely insubstantial to the understanding of music and somewhat weak. If your art revolved around the music side of things you should know that saying "I don't like your voice" or " your singing technique is off" isn't nearly as offensive as all these triggered weebs are thinking it is. And again, these are tangibles that they're pointing out. There's the subjective and objective in any form of art, his larynx is objectively raised, his voiced is objectively clenched and tight.
Nah, not enough research before doing the re-review so this was a total waste. Trying to analyze this like it was a pop song is kind of dumb. Imagine if this was spoken poetry based on a story and TK the singer, was emulating the protagonist character's inner thoughts and set to music, you'd have to ask yourself who is the "I" in the song, and when you know, you'll know why it would sound wrong if this was sung differently. For a re-reaction, this is a very lazy effort, you shouldn't have done it. Jonathan Young does a cover of this song in his style and I bet you'll love that version since its also in English...without realizing his overblown testosterone vocals are a bad fit for the anime's visual look in Tokyo Ghoul. I like Jonathan Young for things like Cranberries' Zombie, but not a TK song.
To like this song you kind of need to know the context of where this comes from, Tokyo Ghoul, the anime story. And of course the Japanese lyrics or at minimum a translated version. There's a lot of pathos and the vocalizing is deliberate to fit the context. But if you never knew any of what the song was about like these three, yeah, I couldn't blame them for their reaction. It's like if someone from Mozart's time suddenly attended a heavy metal or a hip hop/rap concert, all they'd hear is noise that made no sense. Or someone from today might see no point in spending over a hundred dollars to sit through an opera in a language you don't understand and a story you have no idea. And the negative comments are just as insulting so it goes both ways.
Try reacting to this other song she did, another awesome performance from the GG VIbes band ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-meOL0WQLMFQ.htmlsi=B3b90wj-q3bD9DvV
