This guy is worth $30 million and he probably would have been fired on his first day of work nine out of 10 times. Trying to tell young people to go out and work 57 years pay more in payroll tax then he'll ever pay in taxes before you can retire for lousy benefits the Republicans he's spouting their talking points and who will raise the retirement age again or completely eliminate them jail the homeless in for profit jails and prisons. While his Rich ass gets his taxes cut every play Republican politicians.
Ahh he owns 51 percent and you describe as can't grow your business 🤔He's majority owner guy! Think you need a serious attitude adjustment as your looking like a damn trust fund kid possibly
People missing the mark with comments about pay. My hiring process weeds out the people that only care about how much they make. I pay my team well but will not hire anyone if I believe they only care about their salary. That’s not a fit for my culture. That’s not a team player. That’s not a good co-worker. A fit for culture in my business means everything to me. For the right person I pay them what it takes to hire and retain.
Base the payout on a percentage of the sales, use a percentage that is based off of last year's profits. In addition, make sure you are being paid hourly for your work, this will make sure you are paid fairly based on time
How do you do a good comp study? I google jobs and the salaries are all over the place on different sites. Plus how do you know if you should be making the median vs above or below?
People leave for one reason: being there is no longer advantageous to them. Whether it's pay, work conditions, or just plain want to be somewhere else. Want to keep employees? Make working there advantageous.
Yeah….not good advice Dave. The IRS says if you work in the business, you have to pay yourself what you would an employee to do ur job. This is how the govt makes MORE money, as you pay FICA, soc sec etc.
Sales is the biggest component of any position . Tradesmen make great money . Next step is your own company . Sales and marketing . Doctors and lawyers have to sell themselves . Learn sales …. Absorb it . Read and watch everything . That’s where you succeed .
The dad is a moron for handing over the company without good protections written in for his daughter and family. Daves advice sounds like my half drunk angry hillbilly cousin spitballing ideas 😂 Bad Advice bottom line.
What a coincidence that the best people possible to run your company and make the most money from it are your children. How interesting and unexpected!
Had an older accountant say it’s not what he does but what he knows that makes him valuable to the company… He liked to leave early every day…. Usually 30 to 35 hours a week
Worked for an electrical utility for 31 years…retired at 57 and invested wisely…but let me tell you I worked for it. Working hard and get a good financial base will take you farther than you’ll know.
I don't disagree, but the "core values" of most companies are mostly BS. It's all the same everywhere you go and they don't give a shit about them. 1. Integrity - Nepotism everywhere 2. Respect - lol ok 3. Innovation - You mean buying other companies? 4. Excellence - Tell that to the manager that does absolutely nothing 5. Customer Focus - cares more about their cash cow customers than their actual employees. 6. Accountability - just no 7. Teamwork - if you mean one person does the work of the whole team then yes 8. Sustainability - maybe, but most likely not 9. Diversity and Inclusion - This one is actually true 10. Social Responsibility - hahahahahahah
I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated!
I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Bruce Murdock, for his expertise and exposure to different areas of the market.
My colleagues had a good laugh at me when I told them I started my journey with $50k capital and how I accumulated over 6 figures within a span of 7 months. They never believed me until I pulled out my P&L. I know that learning the ins and outs of the market isn't for everyone, that's why personally, Bruce Murdock oversees my investments.
Without a doubt! Bruce Murdock is a trader who goes above and beyond. he has an exceptional skill for analyzing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. His strategies are meticulously crafted based on thorough research and years of practical experience.
I owned a small business. I learned to pay my taxes, pay my employees, pay my bills, etc. Whatever money was leftover, that was mine. Owners must create ways of sustaining their busineses, quit complaining, and blaming others.
Why? Good grief. It takes 10 minutes to tell why "Work Smart, Not Hard” Is Wrong . Really? If all my competitors used that principle, I would have no competitors.
