Hello #beachbums and welcome to my channel! As you will see from my videos, cruising is my favorite way to travel. I have been fortunate enough to cruise almost monthly on the Carnival Radiance out of the Long Beach Cruise Terminal. I share lots of information based on my experiences on the ship and in the port of Ensenada.

Thank for the tour! We are staying in this exact room in 15 days. Now that I know only one closet I may bring some metal hooks for the first time for closet over flow. It’s two girls so we will have some clothes!!
I was told that it would be provided to me when I arrived at the terminal. I had to ask the luggage porter for it since no one gave me anything when I arrived 🥺
Hi. Quick question I am leaving this Thursday on the Firenze I have a 10:30 to 11:00 check in time ~ I did the same check in time for my daughter & her husband (we are going in separate cars) my son in law now says he can’t get there that early what will happen if they go later than the stated boarding time?
I don't remember it being overly noisy. I think there was some noise from the anchor dropping when we were pulling into port, but that's about it. -- I am sure you have probably seen me on a cruise, I have been on 37 of them :)
Go see my friend Yahaira and she will guide you where to go. Here is a video on where to find her: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CeRKgbtcEmQ.html
Hello! I have been releasing videos, but not as much as in the past. I have not been on the Firenze yet. I’m hoping maybe next year I will make it on her.
It was fun but Carnival is no longer providing a bartender to go around with you. It makes it a ton of work for the host and no longer fun. I stopped doing them for that reason.
I have not had any issues there. If you stay in the tourist areas, you will be fine. Just like any place in the United States, there are good places and bad places.
I definitely don't like the new process. Thank goodness we got here at 0900. For our back2back cruise we are being told we have to go repack after the first cruise 😢. I won't be taking anymore carnival cruise from longbeach for now
@@TheBeachLife We were in an 8D balcony room and room steward told us there was nothing to sit on at desk. We knew it wasn't true. Next time, if we want something to sit on at desk, we will ask for the ottoman/stool
It was awesome to meet you in person before we boarded! We had a great experience on our first Carnival cruise in a really long time. They embroidered pillowcases with my kids names on them, which was a really cute touch. They even told us that we could take them home! Service was wonderful and such a fun ship. Would totally sail on this ship again.
Got an Ensenada cruise on radiance in oct. First time cruise! Was looking for massage and will be booking at your recommendations. Were also looking for horseback riding on beach. Got any recommendations for that? Thank you!
Awesome! You will love Massage and Facial Care. For the horseback riding on the beach, contact Noe Benitez Ceja from Experience Ensenada. Email: ensetours@gmail.com Phone (via WhatsApp) +52 661 136 0067 Facebook: facebook.com/experienceensenada
Hi Hani..Just came across this vlog. Hotel Maya is so popular. I've heard so many cruisers say they love to stay here pre-cruise. I love how you always give attention to the details. It's looks like a large and beautiful property with an amazing location being so close to the cruise terminal. I agree it would be nice to stay a few days there before a cruise. There's so much to do in Long Beach too.
Thank you for the video. I was worried after seeing the traffic to drop off and pickup my parents from the Miracle. I guess the key is to go early. Funfetti cheescake is the first thing I eat when I get on the Radiance. Nice seeing you again, Hani!
Thank you for watching! Yeah, going early is the key (even though they tell you not to lol) -- I will definitely be having funfetti cheesecake again - so yummy
We have a B2B on Panorama later in the year. Recently found out about Rightway Parking. Big company with parking at many major airports and cruise ports. They lease out (guessing) hotel excess parking capacity and resell it. For us, we got 15 days of parking at Marriott Courtyard, 3 miles from the Carnival terminal for $209.12. Same parking with Carnival $345. After throwing in some cash for Uber both ways, I figure we'll still save about $100 vs Carnival's parking. And we don't have to deal with the hassle's of; get in line, drop off bags, drive off site, park car, take shuttle back, find wife. For us, it will be park car, call Uber for run to Queen Mary (avoids the traffic crawl at the Carnival Terminal), short walk to Carnival Terminal with bags. IMPORTANT CAUTION - parking garage at Courtyard Marriott is only 6'!0" in height. Rightway says NO TRUCKS, VANS, OR SUV's although shorter SUV's like Honda CRV's and Rav 4's would probably fit. We'll just drive the sedan that day. Also important with Rightway Parking - NO HOTEL STAY REQUIRED - it's just parking. My understanding is the Funfetti cake is only available on Embarkation Day on the Lido Deck, and they can run out, so get it early. And yes - it is good.
I hate how cruise lines have not gone back to the old muster drill. I don't like how crew members have to do multiple drills per day. It should be all once.
Sorry, but I am glad that they don't have the old muster drill anymore. It was the most miserable experience of the cruise. Standing out there on a hot and humid day, waiting on everyone to show up, and then listening to the long presentation. It's even worse when you have young children who have no desire to stand around that long.
I just upgraded to this very cabin from Deck 2 today. 3rd time on the Dream, been on Breeze, Valor, and Jubilee just this April. Can't wait. I'd rather be back in a balcony room but it's hubby's casino offer, so I'll take a window over a closet any day. Lol
They are only available in the laundry rooms: LAUNDRY ROOM ON A CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP (AKA LAUNDERETTE) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p_3QTU9KD8Y.html
Great video. I head out on Monday. Are you able to bring tequila back onto the ship? Any issues with bringing young children down the port. I’ve been to downtown Ensenada many times for bachelor parties so I’m not trying to do that with the kids 😂
Thank you! Yes, you bring tequila back on the ship. They will ask you to check it in with Carnival staff and pick it up on the last morning. Ensenada doesn’t have a lot for young kids to do unless you’re doing an excursion or just coming down to eat and do a little shopping.
Hey Hani! I enjoy all the pointers you have! I overheard you say in your video that you were taking a churro back on the ship. So it is possible to take things on the ship that are not packaged?
Awesome! Exactly what I was looking for. I could see on the deck plan that it looks like there was a forward deck but couldn't tell if it was public. Same question about deck 5 and even deck 4. From what I can tell you can't go around the back of deck 5 because it's reserved for suites. From this video looks like you cannot go around the front of deck 5. Bummer. Limits deck 5 to just the side strips for restaurants. No strolling around the ship. And I presume all of deck 4, outside, is crew only even though embarkation occurs on that deck.
Hiii. We just got back from Ensenada. We were there May6-10th. I remember in one of your vids you mentioned Birreria Guadalajara. We stopped there for lunch. It was delicious! We also stopped by a local barber and Joe got a haircut at Mens club hair studio. I got a tattoo at Choice body piercing and tattoo. Ty soo much for your walking tours of Ensenada. We love going there. Keep the videos coming 👍👍
