Hello. 🍁🤩KAMAL/64 years old Sorocaba/SP/BR🤩🍁 I'm in doubt between PUMA DEVIATE NITRO 2️⃣ or PUMA DEVIATE NITRO 3️⃣ To run 3 times a week. 2aF/16km 4aF/19km 6aF/21or24km. Pace 7.4 to 5.8 I run because I like it. To maintain health. I try to evolve and overcome my limits, not others. What's your suggestion between the two? THANK YOU for your kindness in responding. I wait
This Terrex Agravic Flow 2 is the worst trail shoe I have. It's made of rigid plastic and destroys your upper foot. On the other hand, why would you retire the Saucony at 200 miles?
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts on the shoes. I still run in them and love them. I retire my shoes when I am ready donate them so that someone else can have an opportunity to run in them.
I recently bought a pair of Endorphins Speed 3 and today the Bostons 11 are sold at a 30% discount price which I intend to take advantage of. After your review I think its a great buy for under $100. Great video!
Hi! I have a question! Does the 2 carbon fiber plate doesn't wear off quicker than a single carbon plate? Is it useful for basketball? Like running around the basketball court? and hitting the jump shots using that bouncy cushion of the prime x 2? and does it make you run faster than others? Which one is better the alphafly 3 vs Adizero prime x 2 vs vaporfly 3?? *For race day* Is it also great when your wearing it for Playing Tag?
Yes its a flaw in Puma Deviate Nitro 2.I also have my usual size and it irritates my toe small fingers. May be I will go for half a size larger next time.
Thanks for this review. I currently have 300+ miles in my Novablast 3s and am looking for a new 'do it all' shoe. I know you said this can technically 'do it all' but might not be best for recovery runs. Can the ES4 handle steady miles at casual paces, say 8:45-9:00/mile? Or is it better suited for faster paces? I'm also considering the Novablast 4, naturally, but have been long intrigued by the Endorphin Speed lineup and probably don't need both a Speed and a Nova...
Thanks for watching the video! Yes, the ES4 can definitely handle consistent paces. My preference to use a different shoe (in this case the NB4) is purely bc the heft and size of NB4 makes me slow down a bit and run the recovery run the way it is meant to be ran.
@@TZCJames makes total sense; thanks! What I'm interpreting is the ES4 can do it all, but might perform better at faster paces/efforts, whereas (per your other video about the NB4) the NB4 is perfect for those plodding, Zone 2 miles, but maybe not as great for faster paces/efforts? maybe that's an oversimplfication...I'm just having a hard time figuring out which shoe to buy! I run casually a couple times a week as a complement to weight training, so not training for a race or anything. As such, one running shoe is really all i can justify....building a 'rotation' is a bit premature for me.
The Puma Deviate 2s are starting to hit Ross. I just picked up a pair today for $39.99 and they just happened to be a half size bigger than my usual size. I was wearing a Pegasus 39 in my usual size and they fit the same. I took them out for a short run when I got home and I was pleasantly surprised with the Puma’s performance, it’s better than the Boston 11.
Thanks for watching! love helping the running community in anyway that I can and when I come across something that I find to be helpful I enjoy sharing it. I have recently discovered that these videos are a great way to reach beyond the athletes that I train and local athletes that I interact with. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see what Pillar does next!
That’s awesome- you can test them out over the weekend. Stop by my house any hour on the hour starting at 3 PM Saturday until 5 PM on Sunday and run a mile with me.
The Deviate Nitro 2 is almost perfect for me. I would prefer a little less bounce, but otherwise I like it a lot. Fits my feet very well. No lacing problems, grip has been fantastic even on light snow and slushy roads, wet roads, etc. I have never tried an Adidas shoe and I am 65. I would be interested in trying the Boston 12 or even the Takumi Sen 10, but I hear lacing and lockdown can be a problem in the Adidas shoes. I have a problem with both big toe joints and need a stiff forefoot or plate to help keep from flexing the big toe back much. I like the Saucony Ride 16 except they were not good traction on wet roads and the rubber outsoles have worn out too quickly for me. I have never tried the Speed or Pro models from Saucony yet either. Anyway, I am mostly happy with the Puma Deviate Nitro 2. My feet do not get along with most New Balance models I tried or some Asics. I do like the Asics Noosa Tri-14, but the outsole wore out quickly and they are too flexible in the forefoot for my big toe joints, but they are very light and I really like wearing them.
Thanks for watching! Have you ever tried any of the Saucony Endorphin Speeds? I just finished a review of the Speed 4 and really like the shoe. Similar plate to the Deviate, much improved grip for wet conditions and historically an outsole that endures more punishment than most of my other shoes.
Such an informative review! Seems like an awesome shoe 😊. I like the idea of having 1 pair of shoes that can handle it all vs. many pairs especially when traveling.
Thanks for watching! Good news, I can now push workouts that I build in TrainingPeaks to Apple watches. It’s way easier than trying to build them yourself on your watch face.
