Because of the extreme heel geometry I use them for recovery runs to bring my joints back in place. I did add some foam under the tongue in one place where I felt lace bite.
Thanks for sharing how you use the shoe - one of the best things about running is how it’s one big puzzle. What works for one may not work for another, not just shoes but fueling, hydration, sleep etc. Hadn’t tried adding foam under the tongue- does doing that cause any friction or irritation on your foot?
@@TZCJames I have the foam you use in the heel of the shoe to prevent heel slip. It has glue only one side. I found out exactly where I get lace bite., it's where the laces go through the tongue.. So I glued it in that area. Actually in just one shoe and problem solved.
Wider laces would also help with that top of foot lace pressure. Wider surface area displaces pressure, and is something I always have to change after 3-6 months of daily use. Thanks for the review dude. Keep up the good work, and thankfully you have lots of youtube pros in the comments telling how you can do better. lol. Thankfully we have running. Peace.
Thanks Doug! Totally makes sense about the laces. I always appreciate the feedback, we’ve only been making the videos for a few months so testing out different approaches to see what works and what doesn’t. Happy running!
I find the Speed 3 to be softer and a bit less responsive than the B12. Speed 3s are great for a steady long run but less versatile than the B12. Both are pretty excellent shoes.
Glad you enjoyed the video and for sharing your thoughts about background music. We’re enjoying trying different things in the videos and learning what works and what doesn’t. Hope you come back for more videos!
@@ElG-y1x You can find it on the desktop version of Strava by going to Training/My Activities/Filet the Sport Menu to "Run"/ Choose the shoes you want to see in the "Shoes" drop down. It will display all activities for the selected shoe assuming you added the shoe to your workouts. Hope that helps- let me know if you have any other questions.
I wonder if you want a daily trainer to do the work for you? Doesn’t that mean you get less return for your effort and then not realise the benefit of your race shoe?
Hey there- thanks for the question. I think it’s all relative- race day shoes are engineered to produce speed using some/if not more of the technology that is in the super trainers. I like using the super trainer for my daily runs (80%) bc it helps me perform at target paces with a bit let effort which sets me up to be stronger going into the session runs (20%) where I can run in racers.
Tomato-Tomato but the actual pronunciation is indeed “Ah-dee-dahs” with emphasis on the first syllable. Either way- we all know what we’re referring to however it is said 🤷♂️
dude u take time to talk abt the actual staff of the video , 1st minute should be abt subscribing n all that not 4 minute later ! when u start talking abt the shoe ,pliz continue with that than deviating from dt !
