Can u help me i have a similar problem where I get error too not secure and trunk won’t release until top is secure, bought the video it didn’t fix it, any advice i need to get to trunk and i tried using key slot behind back seats but key won’t turn. 2020 camaro 2ss convertible

Well, if you're asking how fast you can actually do the fix, I'd say maybe 60 seconds the first time, then if you had to do it again knowing how you could do it in maybe 20 seconds. That easy.
I bought the fix, tried pushing that thingy back and didn’t work i am only able to complete the operation of the convertible but when i try to open the top i am still getting the same error only manual operation of top available. I attached the cargo shade too. Any other suggestions bud i have a 2017 ss Camaro and its summer and i hate the fact i can’t put my top down.
Ah so it works but it still keeps happening again? Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to reset the system, otherwise you might have a more significant mechanical issue. Glad you have a temp fix at least!
You have to buy the $5 fix towards the end that gives you access to the un blurred video. Its actually a pretty neat fix didn’t work for me but has worked for others.
I can not express how thankful I am for this video. I’ve searched all over on how To fix it without the dealership. And 2 years later, I find this video! It fixed it! Thank you!!
No it didn't, but I was just very sure to hold the close button through the entire cycle every time after that. Not holding it long enough creates the issue (Terrible design)
