You have to buy the $5 fix towards the end that gives you access to the un blurred video. Its actually a pretty neat fix didn’t work for me but has worked for others.
Ryan, you da man. I was about to cry when my pride and joy camaro did the manual only thing. I followed your instructions and ALL IS GOOD. Thanks a million.
It worked! You saved me maybe hundred of dollars from the dealership, and took me months to figure this out Thank you for a more specific video !!! I have the same exact camaro and color by the way 😎
Glad it worked! It started as an idea to "break it more" so the sensors would do something different. Had to use the fix more than once but it worked every time :) Yea the dealership would have charged so much and likely not even know this method
I can not express how thankful I am for this video. I’ve searched all over on how To fix it without the dealership. And 2 years later, I find this video! It fixed it! Thank you!!
YOU SAVED MY BABY! OMG dude!! I have a 2022 Camaro LT1 and this worked PERFECTLY!! I’m kinda small so I used the soft end of a hammer to push the thing down, but AH-MAZING! Thank you SO much!
Hi Ryan, so I have a 2016 SS convertible and had the top down a day earlier and never had an issue with this happening and top wont go down and i get a message (0nly open manually) ?? Lol right !! So of course I'm worried and call dealership to get an appointment and then I decide to look on utube for some help and yeah my husband did what you showed us and it totally 2orked and reset it, I wonder why that happened ? Any idea??😎 Thanks so. Uch for post8ng it saved me $$ and my time
I think changing the position of the mechanism makes it think it's partway open instead of a latching error and it goes on its merry way closing or opening from there :)
No it didn't, but I was just very sure to hold the close button through the entire cycle every time after that. Not holding it long enough creates the issue (Terrible design)
