this has no sound for me... any ideas folks..? I thought it must be some weird glitch on my end but i have shut and re-opened the Tube, rebooted computer, reset sound on comp (even though absolutely everything else was working, incl all other videos)... so i dunno. tis so weird, cos all y'all's comments are here obvs hearing everything
and also... this compilation makes it look like they flirted with each other non-stop in this season! hahaha... well, at least it shows how much they did and all the subtle moments of interest & enjoyment in each other from each side. i know i am finding your vids waay years later -and most comments here are from 8-12 years ago!?-- so i guess i am another to say i really like the way you put this together and it big-time high-lights how much they admitted of their mutual attraction and how much the showrunners teased us all right off the bat-- these two really did nearly get there
luke was so hot in season one. i was into him as soon as i discovered and starting watching this show (which was only about 5 years ago in netflix days... what can i say, i was never much of a tv person my whole adult life)
I'm a guy and I just saw this. How could they have ruined those two. The moment Luke walked in the way he looked at her. It couldn't have been more perfect. How the hell couldn't we have seen them together more not less. I couldn't believe ASP wanted to ruin those two. What the hell was she thinking.
What a wonderful clip. And I loved the moment at the end when they pulled back the curtain a little and let us see the two of them manipulating the puppets. A very poignant moment I felt now that the show has been off the air for so long and nothing remotely as good as come to replace it. Sigh...
I think both are wrong,even if I'm more on Lorelai's side. She made Luke wait to decide the date of the wedding for Rory, and now she should understand why he has delayed the date. But Luke was not sincere with her and pushed her away, cutting her out, never talking about the wedding. The ultimatum was just a way to test Luke, but she knew she couldn't accept to force a man to marry her.
The fact that Luke becomes such a jerk in the later seasons makes absolutely no sense to me. I rewatched the entire show over and over and over again and it still makes no sense that he would act in such a horrible way. He waited for forever to be with Lorelai and it makes no sense that he wouldn’t hear her out or let her explain like the communication between them is awful and even 10 years later it was still awful. The only good thing bout the revival (besides Emily’s plot) is that Lorelai and Luke got married, But like, AFTER 10 YEARS?!
All comments are about Luke not telling Lorelai about April is my feeling, but what about he was afraid and in a new situation and of course its something to critizise, but what about Lorelai running just to Christopher, sleeping with him, just a moment later she wanted to Luke marry NOW. I don't get it, thats nothing you do if you are in love, not matter if hurt or not.
So your saying it's okay for Luke to keep April a secret for 2 month and not telling her. But when Lorelai slept with Chris she is to blame. They both did wrong can't give one person a pass and not the other.
