Everybody missed out a Northamptonshire accent! We got our own kind of way of speaking with a slight bounce to it! I’d be well impressed if you can do our accent! 🙂👍
Excellent, very talented! But I feel I have to make 1 small correction. No true brummy would say the word "dance" with an r sound. It's strictly bath not barth, dance not darnce around there.
American here and I love a soothing, hot cup of tea! And, I def have to add milk. Don’t take sugar but I will occasionally stir in a teaspoon of honey. I know. It sounds odd. But it’s rather good. Now I’m craving tea and scones and clotted cream!!!Mmmm!! 😊
In the southern United States, we eat Chicken 'n Dressin. In my home town, it is made from crumbled up cornbread, shredded chicken, chicken stock, and cream of chicken soup. Some put the traditional seasonings in the dressing, but my mom and I use seasoned croutons. After everything is soaked through with the stock, it is put in a baking dish and baked until golden brown on the top, then served with cranberry sause. Yum!
Every single time I go to the UK and stay somewhere, there is never a mirror where there is a socket or never a socket where there is a mirror. Drying my hair is such an annoyance. I grew up in Spain and have been living in Germany for 11 years. Always had plugs in the bathroom and I am still alive. They really must be accident prone in the UK :D
I was never a big fan of tea or coffee but two years ago I started watching Downton Abbey and thought "hmmm... I wanna try that tea that they drink there". Went to get some and fell in love. I am a tea person now. Altho I mostly drink peppermint, green tea I find lovely. English breakfast or earl grey with oat milk are delicious. Never from a tea bag unless it is eco-friendly. I prefer loose leaf tea. Whenever I visit England ♥ the only "must" I have on my to-do list is going to a café and ordering tea. If it does not come in a teapot, I do not want it. I refuse to drink out of single-use mugs, those things are nasty.
Avast ye mateys, old charmers brought us on deck! These Fools whomsoever they be, are a'blast with these kind words. They do not know of the treatchery of the tongue. This video is only made of tom-foolery and not of real stature. P.S. Your Northern Irish accent is at a puttence. Feed your self to the dogs with that one! Bloody southerner! U dinnae ge i

Great party trick. It's also something of a national hobby in England. Foreigners are often startled when arriving in Britain at just how much attention can be placed on "placing" someones accent. One suggestion, in case you do more of this. It would be more useful to hear MORE of each accent at a time, particularly for people who didn't grow up hearing these on television or on the street. (Again, for foreigners.). It's hard to hear patterns from only a couple sentences
Growing up in the South East states, there was only one way to make tea. Water boiled in a pot, copious amounts of sugar added, Lipton tea bags added to steep, poored into a large pitcher, and thrown into the fridge until it's damn near ice cold. Some people may leave out the sugar. Otherwise, those were you choices. In my adult years, I've become a bit of an Anglophile. I've come to enjoy tea the way my British cousins might enjoy it. Traditional black English tea, oolong, matcha, herbal, all of it. Hot with a little bit of honey. I haven't quite gotten on board with adding milk. Reminds me too much of coffee. It's not coffee, that's just what my American brain associates it with. Oh, and I adore my electric kettle. Boiling hot water in about a minute?! Yes, please, and thank you!!
As an American, I use Yorkshire Gold brand tea. I’ve heard this one of the Brits favorites. Of course sugar, and milk after removing the tea bag. I think milk or cream should go in last as you don’t know how strong it will be before brewing. Cream is much better milk imho.
