I had a run in with a loooooong gravel road and they did ok... But nowhere near as good as the mutants... They're just not made for it... The mutants handle gravel much better, some dirt and a bit of dry grass... But stay off anything remotely wet or muddy.
@@VectorBurnOfficial Good to know! I have a Trident but have been thinking about a TS660 for a while now. Seems like whenever I travel, there is always opportunity to head down a dirt road and do some exploring.
Excelente comentario ! Muy sincero! Tengo una hace una semana y es una delicia manejarla! Muy noble el motor y la conducción! Todavía no la probé en arena pero con lo que comentas tengo ganas de probarla
I agree with everything you mentioned and I have to say with all things considered I personally it’s a love hate relationship. It’s fast, torquey, stiff, I’m too tall for the windscreen and the false neutrals…
I bought this for my TS660 but it doesn't have a large enough diameter opening for mounting to my throttle base. There seems to be no way I can engage the ratchet teeth. I tried it on my wife's MT-03 and could mount it in a matter of minutes because the ratchet clicks into place MUCH easier than on the larger diameter throttle on the TS660. I am thinking I have to modify the device with a file to allow it to fit the bike I intended on mounting it on. I am disappointed
All I want,, no single tracks, but down the highway..Oh shit ok i can jump over the mountain here on dirt jeep road, come back to highway, repeat, cruise on hwy an ok on dirt , semi rock gnarly stuff. In colorado we can do this virtually anywere so nice to have true all around bike. Most are to damn big for me, Drop it an f picking up . 300 kaw versys now and its pretty damn good, but like a bit more horses... 650 vstrom damn good to... love a triumph though
How dark is the sun visor? I find the one on my Schuberth to be insufficient on sunny days. I also prefer the ratchet strap. Would you say their helmet fit tends to be more of a round or oval head shape?
It's an average darkness. I didn't have a problem with the sun nor was it too dark. I'm a typical oval and it was a very comfortable fit. Thanks for watching!
After one month of testing bike I decided for this one. As a beginner I found this bike perfect for me, the engine and all the features make this bike the perfect companion for a newbie. The smooth response of the engine in all the rpm range and the slipper clutch especially. The chassis replies greatly every movement of the body. It’s light, it’s short and with enough power to have fun with it. I needed just two days to be comfortable with it and now I want just to grind miles. Your review is great and honest, really appreciated from an other owner. I wanted just to add some feedback for new riders looking for their first bike. Greetings from NJ
Man you've got the right idea! I've been deep down the rabbit hole searching for my next do it all bike. Returning rider coming from a sport bikes, I've been looking @ everything from dual sports to supermoto to light adventure and now sport touring😂. When in reality I want a low maintenance, semi sporty/agressive look thats yet comfortable, can handle some highway, and do the amount of offroad you showed. This is definitely now a new option to consider. Loved the creativity and balls to do something different 👌🏾
Excellent. That was a great video very well presented and produced. For someone who has 2.24k subscribers, you definitely deserve a lot more my friend. I've just subscribed. You are definitely one to look out for in the future. All the best from me 😊
Can I clamp an insta360 invisible stick to the bars? would you think it will make a good place to do that? I love how the way it can be done on adventure bikes.
As a former 660 TS owner, the biggest issue is the budget suspension particularly the front end. The good front brakes overpower the forks and dive badly under braking that then upsets the whole bike when cornering hard. I quess that's why its a budget bike.
Been off of bikes for like 10 years now. Just bought a 2020 20 Indian Bobber. So I am getting back into it and looking for some riding pants. Very good video.
The two times I’ve taken mine on gravel/bumpy terrain…. I’ve had issues with my triumph panniers staying in place, falling off actually. Any trouble with that? I’ve taken it to the dealership and they say they are on has good as they can be put on
After watching your video I opted for a Hepco&Becker product, as other videos on made the installation look so easy, albeit on a Trident. In short, it’s mostly the same. In that regard, thank you for your very helpful video!
@VectorBurnOfficial no it isn't, the factory that atlas has these made, are in China, China doesn't care about copyright law, I have 3 of these locks, 2 temu, and 1 atlas, they are identical in packaging, construction, and rubber markings, only difference is the sublimated logo on the atlas. Don't waste your money, buy the temu lock... it's built in the same factory
So… you would support a “slimy” rip-off company to get cheaper innovative solutions rather than paying more for the research and development… I suspect you are not hurting for disposable cash (tho that may be an incorrect assumption) but your mindset is cheaper is better….. Myself, I am on the fence regarding throttle locks, but after reading reviews of the Temu/Amazon knockoffs, I would rather have Atlas support if I run into an issue. Additionally I support R&D. All that said- not sure if I will be going down the throttle loch road yet…
Man the snorkels imtake is directed towards the front, which means, it is feeded by the air comming from the front, while moving. The form is getting tighter, this means, that the inflowing air is being swirled into a vortex and also a little bit compressed. I cannot imagine, it will work better when removing it. With this snorkeldesign you do have a guaranteed inflow while moving, in contrast to, when you remove it, the swirling wind on the simple open hole has more problems to get inside, because of the airstream simply passig by that hole. But the plastic cover is blocking that direct intake. What we could try is to saw off the front part is useless, because the leg is still blocking some air. But I will check your airfilter from kna... Maybe i will try it now anyway
