is it possible for the enemy to put a card onto your board to cancel your cook effect? i havent played in a while but i coulda swore there are some cards you can put on the enemy field.
The funny thing is that my decks would tend to work well with this. My favorite strategies are burn strategies and using your opponent’s cards as material or tributes.
Man im win this deck this Red dragon archfiend, thats crooked cooked man uneffected by single target, but not uneff for mass all banishe or destroy. Lol meta slaves is you.
i beat a player using Crooked Cook with my Labrynth deck using Daruma Karma Cannon. the moment his Cook got sent to the graveyard by Daruma's effect he instantly scooped lmao
15:57 not sure what that guy was cooking, but pure cyber angel has an answer with "Cyber angel Dakini", because that let's all your ritual monsters deal piercing
someone did this to me once... took me a couple of turns to figure out what was going on, but a kaiju resolved the situation... damm lucky I was playing the one deck I have with a kaiju in it...
I use that ninja guy who can make all his buddies direct attack too, even if I get kaiju'd I can summon another pretty quickly and theres one card that whenever hes on attack position I can revive 2 monters on my graveyard including the 2500 direct attack ninja that makes his buddies direct attack too, I forgot the name and honestly don't care
This is way old but one of my favorite outs against it is in my Agents deck. Searchable dark lord cards come in clutch when you need to put another card on your opponent’s board lol
I actually run this exact deck, though I threw in a "Called by the Grave" in case they try to Ash Blossom the shark cook combo. One single Ash Blossom can cost you the duel. Not good, but absolutely annoying to play against. Funnily enough though, a lot of the top decks like Snake Eyes or Tearlaments can't really do anything to it.
(Ah he mentions it at 8:45) There is another out to this I found - if the Cook player plays any card, even if it's a normal Spell that goes to the graveyard immediately after it resolves, Cook's protection from card effects is nullified, so responding within that chain can in fact kill the Cook. Granted, it relies on the opponent not knowing this, but it's something.
Lots of unsubbing going around... Sadly, im innthat boat as well. I truly loved watching you throughout the early duel links ages (along with dan). Like many others said, with no more ygo, for that reason im out. best of luck, my baggio. ♥️💙
I was told as a magic player that I would enjoy this video. How? How thousands of times over. How....how did someone think this was okay to release? How is this legal? How is a turn one drop..... flipping how does this card negate 99.991 of all cards in the game, and it's balanced?
Probably the best motivational video I heard recently, thank you for this! It's 2024 now, so I wonder what's up with your projects though. 😊🍀🍀 I can't believe I'm behind with a few years!! 😱😱
