I just got a 2007 acura tl 3.2l with 103k miles on it for graduation and its my first car, any mods you recommend besides a cold air intake? I dont know that much about cars yet but im learning

Just so everyone knows my mod list: Pcds, jpipe(2.75" exit, now I have 3" exit), oem catback piping 2.25" oem resonators, universal borla ataks, nothing ported at the time, lw wheels(18.8lbs), stock airbox with k&n drop in filter, 91 octane, ktuner basemap(shitty af), weighing 3950lbs. with me in it😂. I'd say the boat did pretty good against a FBO Tune on 93 3.2 that weighs a few hundred lbs. less, but haters gonna hate. J37 vs. J32 NA mod for mod, fuel to fuel, weight to weight J37 is faster. No hate for the 3.2 at all it's an awesome motor🔥. Hope you can grow up, and become humble some day man. I'll be here to 🤝 when you do. Wishing everyone the best with your J builds. 🫡
It’s close tho that j32a3 only makes slightly less power while also weighing less, if I’m not mistaken the fastest J series car in all is a boosted 3.2
@mod3987 I'm talking mod for mod fbo tune on E J37a2 or a4 will make about 20-30whp more, and yes the fastest J I believe is J35 block and J32a2 heads due to the 3 ports. I'm also talking NA only, boost J35/J32a2 heads is the best combo. J37 is horrible for boost
@mod3987 yes 100lbs. Equals around a tenth of a second. 10whp equals around a tenth of a second. Not saying it's a huge difference, just the guys who want to fastest NA always end up going J37. J32 are a lot cheaper to come by though, so that's why majority of NA civic swaps just go j32a3. They came in one of the best selling sedans of all time. It's an amazing motor, just ppl who want that little extra edge swap to J37...Uaint6, Horlly, Chony and cpl others...uaint6 has tried J32, j35 and j37 and he'll tell you the J37 is the fastest NA
@@RevsALot ya I’m a fan of U ain’t 6 setup I talked to him recently and he told me I should probably stick with my 3.2 especially since it’s super healthy and somewhat of a “factory freak” put down almost 272 to the crank and all I had was intake chony also told me that the 3.2 is def worth building especially if I’m willing to go with e85 he was saying I could achieve 340 whp with what I showed him
@@TwinTLs 😂 didn't come for the J32 at all, but ok. Said it 100 times, I'll say it again...mod for mod, weight to weight NA J37>J32...they dyno about 30-40whp more fbo tune on E then J32. That's why everyone swaps to J37 eventually when trying to get the fastest NA stock motors.
@@TwinTLs I've seen the basemaps ktuner comes with for the 4G they don't change shit for timing, maybe target a leaner AFR and raise rpms. My point being you're comparing the FBO lighter tuned 3G vs the almost FBO, heavier, "untuned" 4G. If the 4G was FBO and tuned it'd be a different story.
@@MB7_7doesn’t matter the 4g is a J37a4 dual vtec motor plus he’s semi gutted compared to my J32a3 with just bolt ons street tuned. Car for car he should be doing better but the proof is in the numbers and the J32 is a superior engine
@@SlowJ32 semi gutted is still 3950lbs with him in it dawg, and you showed everyone yourself you're making over 300 wheel FBO tuned. His only dyno was him at 277 wheel with a few bolt ons, I'd wager 280-290 as he is now still untuned. You've seen FBO J37 make 340 wheel NA. You say car for car but this isn't car for car footage 😭 and you know it, a stock 6MT 3.2 would get walked by a stock shawd 6MT car. My only point from the beginning is this video doesn't prove the 3.2>3.7 argument like you think it does
