Alright listen up. remove the hood spacers it's acting like a parachute especially above 100 m.p.h. and costing you 2-5 m.p.g. (and the win). after all maintenance is caught up I.E. timing belt, water pump, valve adjust, spark plugs, trans service. Do the following: (1.) bypass coolant lines to throttle body. (2.) delete bumper mufflers and 3rd catalytic converter with straight pipe. (Leave mid muffler and resonator alone) (3.) Delete e.g.r. valve. (4.) install ported and polished lower intake runners and thermal gasket. (5.) delete crank case breather to intake vent tube. (6.) install lightweight crank pulley. (7.) install 3.7 liter intake manifold and throttle body. have them ported and polished by smp performance for increased gains (on top of gains.) (8.) install high flow pre cats OR do pre cat deletes. (9.) install aftermarket J pipe. race on 1/4 tank with race fuel or premium with a octane booster. (10.) Install light weight wheels and tires (11.) let it eat!
