Wow. So much to say, and not sure how to say it. First, way to go siding with Sentinel Corp. No one has ever been fooked by a Corporation, so good choice! :) (but nice leaving the Warden Orb) In all seriousness CLR, thanks for taking me on this journey with you. Not sure this is a game I would enjoy, but I have enjoyed watching you play it. Loved the long convo with Jergnome, and the seamless transition into Subnautica was *Chefs Kiss*. I say it over and over, because I believe its true (and I believe in you), your channel is gonna catch fire, its just a matter of when. You remind me of GNS way back in 2021, I watched his content and I think I was like his 251st sub, I couldnt believe how good he was and had so few subs....but look at him now. Just a matter of finding the spark, and I know you will!
... Very humbling to read. This RU-vid journey can be very frustrating, especially when you put some much love and effort into it. It's hard not to focus on the 'numbers' when everything is about the analytics and YT judges and puts out videos depending upon those 'numbers'. I have always wanted to focus on the people and make a community I can be proud of, then I have faith the 'numbers' will follow. You all help to remind me what it is all about. Thank you, I couldn't believe how long we have been playing Planet Crafter! I will revisit it for the updates, but I am also looking forward to the next adventure. i made this suggestion to them back in january. "Soggy Jan 9 @ 12:56am Adding a mantis mother would be a great addition to the game along with after she is defeated either allowing for a treat or to be able to receive an egg for raising or trading like the blue tit for a mount"

I was setting one up before I got sick - I will have to see if I finished it. There’s so much I want/ need to do. I want to reserve a day to play with members and patreons, I would love to do another stream, set up discord (and be active in it). I feel like editing is too much of my time - gotta get faster with it. Ahhhh, haha! All good issues to have. You interested in discord?

Finally, a bike and boy did we put it to use in this episode! I am enjoying 1.0 so far. The cap on trader missions really does slow down progression, but I’m fine with that. I just wish RU-vid would push the 7 days to Die content as much as my Smallands or Planet Crafter. I hate abandoning series. The wheel is free and can be found at wheelgames.org
Your cats name is Kevin? Like from Home Alone?? LOL Looks like you had fun in this episode. In your opinion, is this game headed in the right direction, development wise?
We just got a brand-new kitten and Kevin fit him perfectly! He is always up to something, and I am having to yell out his name like Home Alone constantly, lol. Now for the second half. It took me a bit because I wanted to give a thoughtful answer. Granted I may be biased because I love this game... I am amazed at the transformation this game has undergone in just a little over a year that I have been playing it. I will never forget the experience of exiting the burrow and having a ladybug walk past me. Or the feeling of finally flying through the air on the back of Skybird. They have done an incredible job creating an amazing environment. Some aspects of combat are lacking, in my opinion - mainly boss fights. The "rubber banding" is annoying and easy exploitable. The villages and tower fights were very "cookie-cutter." The blocking, if done right is pretty powerful. Granted I don't like combat so it's perfect for me, haha. A big grip I had in the past was how useless the tames were, but they have improved and are continuing to improve it. In my first season I never bothered with a tame because they would constantly die. Now being able to actually fight alongside your tame has changed the game tremendously. Merge has been active and are constantly working on updates (nearly every 2-3 months they have released pretty big updates). They are attempting to listen to the community and make changes accordingly. Some people are not happy at the speed or what they choose to focus on, but you'll never please everyone. I wish console updates and bugs would be smoother, but consoles have a bit more red tape to overcome then an update on Steam. I'm excited to see where this game will go. So, in a very long-winded response to your question - Yes, I believe this game is headed in the right direction. I feel it is worth the $35 (or wait for it to go on sale for $20). The experience and feeling from riding on the back of Skybird alone is worth it. They have also promised to add new chapters (and we have only played Chapter 1) - so I cannot wait for that. To be fair, I didn’t know what I was looking for either. I noticed during editing - that as I was entering the cave there were purple flowers that said Ambrosia you could pick and I walked right on past them. Elsie isn't traumatised, she just wants to do more science 😂 The flies look promising for fights same as the mantis. The tames changed the way we play as solo players I guess. My next playthrough will be interesting 😊 Thanks for a great episode ❤
I knew Elsie loved science! Ahem, that’s why I chose her, haha! Tames completely change how the game plays. Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about it with the boss fights. I remember how tough that Black Hornet fight was. It’ll be in testing to see how this “crew” does against tougher creatures and bosses. I hope you have an amazing day. We finally got the “tree top” update. Buggy for some PS5 players who can no longer use their builder's hammer...It's always nice to watch your videos. "Ça donne le sourire / Makes you smile"
I was hoping they would get it out in August, but they were cutting it close. Not being able to use the builder's hammer?! What a weird bug. I hope they can patch that soon. The 2nd items? If I remember correctly, there use to be some armor he would give, but that was very early on for those who had donated to the game. It is no longer attainable. I’m not too sure if that is what you are referring to. I will check my game later on tonight and check it out.
Hey Sleezy, sorry it took me a bit. I checked my Season 1 account just to make sure I was thinking of the right thing. It was that armor set given to donors when the game 1st came out. I don't know why they still have it in the codex (other than to confuse people). So, you should be good to go. There is nothing on your end to get to fill it out, hope that helps.

You're pretty good at this game. Fun series to watch. I'm interested to see what kind of base you build. Since you change specs every day it seems you'll have to have one that you can utilize both range and melee depending on what skill tree you're in on each horde night. I'm excited to see how it goes. But don't push to hard. Can't have you getting sick again.
Oh, thanks for that. I must say I am having fun with this series. I think it's the not knowing what the day is going to be like because I truly spin the wheel right before filming that way, I don't have too much time to prepare for the day. It makes it stressful and also fun, if that makes sense. I have no idea what base I am going to make either... It has to be versatile for sure. I am trying to pace myself. I hope you are recovering well my friend!
You know what I am so used to not getting points in that (because you have seen how unsneaky I am), but you are absolutely right I need to. I was surprised I killed the zombie that "tanky" zombie towards the end with that sneak attack. I will do it next time for sure!

Yay, CLR is back! Glad you feel better :) In a next playthrough I will def take Mantisessesses (what's the plural? :D) ) to the Grey Lands and beyond to help firstly with the pesky Grey Flies and then with the mislead aether guys. Getting Grey Flies as tames could also be good, they are vicious. Loved the conversations, they make your videos extra special - thanks for the video! :)

Nothing past the cure for the queen. They have mentioned adding more chapters, but that’s going to be a while from now. Something to look forward to for sure!
I believe only active pets will fight with you. There is 100 point cap on active tames (you can have as many inactive pets as you want). For example, the geckos are 18pts so you could have 5 active geckos at once. (5 x 18 = 90) and then another creature that is 10pts or less with you. And you can mix and match tames/ pets. Hope that helps answer your question.
