Even in that destroyed state, the materials used in this house must be unimaginably strong withstanding Soldier Boy and Homelander smashing each other into it.
The more I watch, the more I keep seeing a resemblance between Butcher and The Gunslinger from King's mythos. I don't mean "cast Karl Urban as Roland Deschain," I mean the Gunslinger as an archetype. Committed single mindedness transcending good and evil if necessary but never to stop following his path. It's only after I've read the whole Dark Tower series many times that I realized everything, all of it, and the thread running through 20 other novels all boil down to the first sentence of The Gunslinger. The man in black fled across the desert and the Gunslinger followed. If you read that novel, you know what Roland chose when he refused to step away from his path, his purpose. Butcher as a character has some similarities.
I love that after realizing Homelander is stronger than him, Soldier Boy doesn’t leave the fight; he catches his breathe and slams him down for round 2
The dumbest part of this season was mother's milk trying to kill soldier boy with a hand gun. ??. Here's one of the rare people that can go toe to toe with homelander and he really thought he can just shoot him, without soldier boy knocking his head clean off his body without breaking a sweat.
I think Butcher might actually be physically stronger than Soldier boy and Homelander being more powerful than all of them combined. As in the one on one fight Between Homelander and Soldier boy Homelander was way stronger with far stronger hits and kicks which send SB sprawling but Butcher tanked all the hits and slightly managed to hold his own
This scene actually Spikes my Adrenaline because I want to see Homelander get his A$$ Kicked, So bad!! Damn! You Know the actor is good if he makes you hate the character he plays!! 😤😅
Thing is, sure hes got some rough edges but homelander is the most honourable of the lot. He also 1v3'd solduer voy and his mates. Id be pretty proud of that were he my super son.
The best part of this fight is when they hold down Homelander and they don’t hold anything back. This beats Avengers Infinity War scene of fighting Thanos when the heroes also hold him down, but lose thanks to Quill’s idiotic tactic just over Gamora.
At this moment i stop watching its so stupid Butcher turn against soilder boy cause of that stupid bastard kid......i mean rather killing homelander instead he betrays him what a hypocrite
I think soldier boy in this scene was holding back, let me explain you how:first of all he stated that homelander is his son and he is ready to stop him but not going to kill me not in this particular battle, even he previously stated in front of hughie that he is going to stop who comes in his way, maybe soldier boy was little holding back because homelander is his son and in the second battle he is completely ready to eliminate homelander completely, maybe you all understand what i am trying to say even in this fight scenario we all see that soldier boy takes more time to get exploded rather than previous scenes maybe iam wrong but i will believe my thinking 100%.
Even 3 can't defeat Homelander. But some toxic kids talking shit about Homelander😂😂😂 Homelander defeated soldier boy 2:46 Homelander almost killed butcher 3:56
I still laugh at the fact homelander could hear termite asking for help at the start and still steps on him. Like "your fucking annoying just die already."
I like how Homelander turns and gives the facial expression, "how the fuck is this man still not dead!!", when Butcher says "ooii" 2:57. He thought he killed him with his lasers lmaooo
