I've been a full-time Engineering Draftsperson for over 9 years now, using CAD for mechanical & electrical designing, and also 3D Printing more recently. I hope to inspire and educate you with tutorials and build logs on how you can create props and replicas from video games / movies using the process of 3D CAD & 3D Printing.

hey man, if you plan on making more 2077 prints, i can get you the official models (Legally) to reference off of more easily. you'd still have to do your own modeling, but this way you can get more in depth and close up to the real things.
Did you haft to first flash your ESC’s with coding? Or just wire them up and depend on the coding you provided for the Arduino that runs everything. Hope that’s not a dumb question I’m pretty new to brushless motors.
Hi, youtube tutorials on general use of cad software. Once youve got that, reverse engineer a nerf blaster or airsoft etc, and take measurements. Use images for reference on the external appearance. The rest you gotta figure out yourself like i did.
hello this looks amazing. I wanted to use this model to create a version for airsoft, but it didn't work out well with stl. could you save the assembly in step (stp) format and share?
My licence of Inventor ran out sadly can not convert it. Im learning Fusion 360 these days. It might be easier if you draw up airsoft version from scratch? I mean getting the trigger and barrel and mag etc all line up would be a pain otherwise.
I had a desire to make a small airsoft submachine gun based on gearbox 3. but I am an engineer and do not know how to design, my airsoft looks like a cyberpunk assembled on junkyard. But then I saw this model on Tingivers and it fits my idea perfectly. however, the part with the handle and the trigger cannot be made as on the model, I checked, it's nothing. I have already worked with stl files, usually there were no problems, either they converted well, or I did not make significant changes, but here it will be necessary to work well. I would be happy with any sources, maybe I can find a way to convert it to the format I need. I can't tackle design from scratch
Hey, I'm looking to do some of these props myself, but I have yet to do any printing. How much filament should I look at purchasing before diving into multiple projects like these? Thanks for making all of your hard work accessible to the masses; they look great.
Thanks, this Shingen, i just put it on the scale and it weighs 823g. So allow 1kg worth of filament. I printed it with two colours though. For my largest project, the Militech Achilles, that weighed 1733g, so allow 2kg for that.
Hi, great project, do you have any advice on the nozzle size used and the recommended layer height? The I print the project in nozzle of 0.4 with layer height of 0.16
I plan on printing this but it is difficult to determine what color to print each object in. Can you have a list of what colors I need each piece to be in?

Well impressive! I'm just wondering if I can print it on my Elegoo since its 129mm(L)*80mm(W)*150mm(H). Also can can you do the Genjiroh smart pistol next time?!
@@printedprops8730 not for full auto, so far I’ve gotten a rival round travelling at 160fps at 8 feet past the end of the barrel, and I think I can squeeze more out of my motors
