My story, although not medicine, Studied Engineering, loved Math, not good with hands on stuff though... was to find ? Became Math Teacher, thereafter...30yrs later , retired..... Best change for me. Didn't see it then ?? But, in retirement, taught hundreds, it was for me, positive change amid, much uncertainty at that time ?? Peace

Do DO get trained in diet and nutrition? Americans are experiencing high rates of obesity and diabetes. The current MD system and diet advice is not working to solve the problems. It works to enrich the MD, insurance and the whole sick care system.
I used comquest before I took COMLEX. I was consistently scoring b/w 60%-70% on practice quizzes....and I FAILED COMLEX. With any luck, I'll match into a janitorial residency. FU(K COMQUEST!!!!

If you get corrected in a procedure or during a stitch it’s really no big deal. You aren’t expected to be perfect. He kinda makes it seem like it’s the worst thing possible
nice video. the reason i wanted to go into med school was because of the money and peer pressure + making my parents proud. i never did my full research on what i was getting into, i just really loved science as i was growing up but i never knew what i wanted. After i was done with my foundation year i switched to Pharm. Pharm isn’t obviously an easy course but i just want to be done w school ASAP. i’m just saying this so that you’re sure of what you want don’t let factors like these influence what you want to do in a long term. Medicine is course purely for those with the passion and if you don’t have that zeal don’t purse it

Thanks! You’re video was really helpful. Advice was great, but above all, it’s just great to see someone with a wife and kids surviving med school. I’m 27 and am considering the route, but I won’t be able to start med school until I’m 29-30 so I’m deciding between MD and PA because I want a family at the same time.
