The Rage Academy is a RU-vid Channel dedicated to gaming content.
On this channel, we're on a never-ending quest for the best wireless gaming mouse, the best gaming monitor, & the best gaming headphones, We regularly post reviews about gaming mice, gaming keyboards, gaming monitors, microphones, gaming headphones, mouse pads, mouse mods, and anything I can get my hands on.
In addition to gaming tech reviews, I also post educational tutorial videos about video production, live streaming, editing, graphic design, and animation. If you need any help with your videos or stream, let me know! I'd love to help out.
You'll also find entertaining clips of me and my buddies playing different games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends, Battlebit, CSGO, Battlefield, and other FPS shooter games. I will occasionally stream on Twitch and on RU-vid (simultaneously, ask me how and I'll make a video about it). If you need help setting up your gaming live stream, let me know!
All hail the youtube algorithm! I got one of these years ago and use it for programming and gaming. I'd buy it again 5x over. Some people need a full size keyboard. Shocker I know. The function macro maneuvering gets annoying fast. Once you go analog switches it's hard to go back. Well the analog switches + software to enable the functionality they allow. Plus the browser based flashing? Chefs kiss. Google added that support because the pixel team was getting annoyed at guiding people through using the command line. Literally every single manufacturer that sells consumer facing devices with reprogrammable firmware should implement that. If I was in charge that would be a top priority to implement. Made some modifications to reduce the high frequencies and the clack from it and it's perfect. Factory lube on mine was pretty meh (really don't miss lubing switches), but hopefully that was improved. Literally just waiting for them to release a wireless version and then I'll grab the 60% layout for my travel board. High performance wireless is harder than it looks to get right. Really easy to burn through a 5000 mah battery in ~15 hours which sort of defeats the purpose of wireless. Logitech I think could make it to like 600 hours with a battery that big. Shame logitech makes terrible keyboards these days. The old ones were pretty good. But I trust the wooting team can get it right. Eventually... One day...
Excellent editing on this video. Hope your channel grows. The Thorn is more like the Zowie EC2-CW (and even the Pulsar Xlite V3) in my opinion. The DAV3 manages to put my fingers a little higher so I can definitely click faster. The EC2-CW's buttons are lower than the DAV3 and overall the body is smaller, and the Thorn reminds me a lot of it because of that.
Dude I've been saying this exact thing to my friends who were planning on buying g pro wirelesses... I thought I was either crazy or was missing something severely important that other people hadn't figured this out 😭
Silly me, I have been looking at these for weeks and only noticed that there was no number pad because it was noted in this window...what a bummer, I just can't do no number pad keyboard, dang.
Kinda disappointed in the accessories game when it comes to Pulsar. Lamzu in comparison, includes extra feet, grips and dust covers in addition to the 1k dongle and usb cable (which is of the same quality), and Lamzu does that at a lower weight and price.
if you think the factory workers in the cheaper brand are being paid equal and sustainable to their life. that is the question. if you think a company that pays more to their employees are cheating on their customers, or the cheaper mice taking advantage of their lower waged employees.
I was shocked when I realised you only have 3000 subscribers, just came across your channel by chance and wanted to say your videos are insanely good, the pacing, the quality, a brilliant review. You’re going to be huge
@@StruggleBoat someone on my discord has talked about having that experience with the x3. I personally I’ve not had that issue with either of my x3’s or m600 though
I have had the black version of the x3 and the dongle 2.4ghz connection has been great. Switched to the white version and the connection with that one is incredibly shitty. No matter how charged it is, the mouse just doesnt run smooth and doesnt register my inputs. Anyone else have that problem with the mouse?
I'm right handed but learned to use the computer left handed, so i can use both but im much more adept at games with my left hand. If my wrist is tired when im working i will just switch hands so a mouse having ambidextrous design is the first thing i check when shopping for one.
Bought the Kysona M600 after watching this RU-vid video, and it's awesome! Got it for $25 on AliExpress. Fits my hand perfectly. I play FPS games and some MMOs, and it’s a champ. Those $150 mice are a rip-off. The clicks feel amazing, and the tracking is flawless (I play a lot of aim trainers). the truth needs to get out to more people. you can literally buy a premium mouse for 25$. now let's hope this revolution comes to the gaming headset market 😅
Do not ever use Chinese pricing as a benchmark for honest product quality reviews. The praise of Chinese products and “quality” is a joke. Consumers buying the cheapest shit possible has created the hellscape that is the quality to price ratio we see today. People either buy name brand, or cheap Chinese stuff, and we’ll never see innovation because the Chinese manufacturers only have to mimic the name brand’s “quality” with basically slave labor allowing for their prices. Are name brands ripping us off? Yeah, are Chinese brands a good deal? Short term. Will we ever see anything change? No, because consumers are idiots that think Chinese prices are realistic for the rest of the world.
Name brands don’t have competition and get to charge exorbitant prices for minimal improvements. Small non Chinese companies can’t survive trying to innovate, because they can’t match big name quality without charging more than Chinese companies. Chinese companies make acceptable quality products for way cheaper, but do not compete with name brands. No one will compete with name brands because people demonize anyone charging more than Chinese companies if it’s not a huge name brand.
@@osmos_ That’s a good question. I actually reviewed the AM8 and boom arm not too long ago. I like the design of the AM8 more BUT I like the software and sound of the PD200x more. But, I can make the Fifine sound just as good with some post tweaking. Personally, I’d probably go for the fifine am8
This video definitely deserves more views. Should be a wakeup call for Logitech to know that people out there are not as gullible as they think. They really need to come up with better products, like their keyboard scenario where they have fallen out the most, if they really intend to keep their customers coming back for more of their products. BUT, having said that, these brands in this video are originally from China - and that says a lot already just by itself. We will never know how they made a product this good AND this cheap. I would love to buy these, but personally would prefer brands just to be on the safe side.
Hey man at 30 seconds in you have a hunstman with some custom translucent top caps on it? You got any deets on them I love them and want to put them on a wooting 80HE
Wait until you searched up vortexseries Inno X2, it also looks very similar xD But it's a good thing, since i want to buy that but gone from the market, and then i saw Attack Shark x3 with similar price and still exist, it just like miracle this video comes up at my recommendation
Apart of me wanting to stick with name brands is literally just the software, but its great that there are good affordable mice for everybody to enjoy.
bought that mouse a few month ago on aliexpress and knew any big brand is ripping you off big time. but the shape didnt fit for me unfortunately. but an insane value mouse nonetheless.
Its not only mouse and keyboards but also for mousepads , Mousepads like pulsar and sky pads are heavily priced while Chinese brands like Esptiger Lotus which offer control and speed type glass mousepad at half the cost and the funny fact is its way faster than the heavy branded one also the size is much bigger too but most of it is not available on markets like amazon.
i bought a vxe mouse which almost feels like old gpro and its so good that it never shown any performance drops i got it for 59$ including tax and customs paid.
Bought the Kysona m600 back in April for ₱835 or $14 because of a sale, and it is legit the best mouse I've ever laid hands on. Very fast response from each mouse movements and crisp click and a solid build
