I've been using the Pulsar X2V2 for a little while now to play CSGO2. I actually decided to spoil myself and buy two of them. The white X2V2 is the standard 1000hz polling and the Green X2V2 came with included 4k polling dongle. I wanted to see for myself If I could feel the difference between 1khz and 4khz, but that's a story for another day.
This mouse is a completely different experience from the other ultralight wireless gaming mice I've tried; like the Logitech GPX Superlight 2, Razer DeathAdder V3 pro, or the Lamzu Atlantis Mini.
I've had a lot of fun using these mice over the last month or so. They may be candidates for the Best Gaming Mouse of 2024 category at the end of the year.

Left-handed user here. I was using the Lamzu Atlantis Mini 4K and recently changed to the Pulsar X2V2 Mini Founder's Edition. The main reason I change the mouse is because of the hump of the Atlantis Mini that is restricting any micro movements. I think I finally found a mouse that suits my hand. I tried posting links here to show my setup but keep getting deleted. So I'll share it in discord. I play Valorant. My left-click is the normal right-click and vice versa. Basically my left-click is your right click. I use the base of my pinky finger to press the spacebar. This setup results in a big space between my mouse and the keyboard.

Your left handed setup is more sane than some of the others I’ve seen. We used to game with this guy when we were younger and he’d rebind your entire keyboard to play. He used the arrow keys as WASD and the mouse would be turned 90 degrees and held with the left hand under the arrow keys. It was insane

I have started having lots of issues with my Atlantis Mini after 1.5 years of heavy use - no big deal, but it's time to change things up. Or is it? Looking now at Lamzu Mini V2 v. Pulsar X2V2 Mini directly, unfortunately I've seen so many videos with QC issues on the units, sticky clicks and bad implementation of optical. I guess my biggest question is, how much different the shape is? Because I can just buy Lamzu and "f off" and be glad about my choice - or if im spending 100 bucks again, might try pulsar, as there doesnt seem to be anything new and available right now (except for Sora v2 that id have to import from China as it isn't available in my retailers). Would be happy to hear any additional feedback you might have

I'd say the Atlantis mini and X2V2 have different shapes. Not super different but it would take some getting used to. My go to mouse that I absolutely love is the X2H es (review coming soon) from Pulsar. The shape fits my hand perfectly. That's the thing though, everyone has different hands and there's really no "best" shape. Best I can tell you is look at some of the return windows on the mice and try them out. If it's not for you, don't force it and send it back. The mouse should be immediately comfortable when you try it imo. This probably isn't the answer you were looking for but I hope it helps!!

I'm right handed but learned to use the computer left handed, so i can use both but im much more adept at games with my left hand. If my wrist is tired when im working i will just switch hands so a mouse having ambidextrous design is the first thing i check when shopping for one.

Any recommendations on which wireless mouse to buy? My Steelseries Rival 310 just died, so I need something for productivity and gaming. I like the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro, but I'm worried about spare parts (saw that mentioned in another comment section). The Ninjutso Sora V2 looks awesome, but it's not available in my country yet. I'm willing to wait for pre-orders to open, but open to other suggestions in the meantime! Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hmmm… here’s some follow up questions How many buttons do you want? What’s your weight preference? How many side buttons do you need? Do you need infinity mouse wheel scroll? Budget? Rgb? Yes or no

@@TheRageAcademy Buttons: A moderate amount. Enough for comfort and functionality in FPS games and editing software, but I don't use macros often. Weight: Definitely on the lighter side. I'm used to an 88-gram mouse, so anything slightly heavier is okay. Side Buttons: Just 2 side buttons would be perfect. Scroll Wheel: Infinity scroll would be awesome, but I know those tend to be on heavier mice. I'm willing to compromise here if lightness is a priority. Budget: Around $140. RGB: Yes, I like RGB, but if the best options lack it, a stealthy design is totally fine.

@kyukyuproductions8029 shape is going to be king. Do you have any shape preferences? Do you prefer ergo or symmetrical? Right now my favorite mouse is the Pulsar X2h es. It’s only got 5 buttons though. If you need a lot of buttons (over 6) I’d either go with the basilisk v3 pro or the g502 lightspeed BUT I would wait for a sale because I think Razer and Logi are price gouging on those.

@TheRageAcademy Mouse Sensitivity is just remapping the OS Windows mouse sensitivity (you should leave it as default!), it's not unique to Pulsar. It also has no effect on games with Raw Input because that bypasses the OS mouse sensitivity.

1:40 lefthanded person here, : ) I use only my lefthand... but for handwriting... for gaming, I use right hand for the mouse. : ) using the mice on the right just felt normal since I was a lil kid in school in 95. Mice of choice ... (buying a new nice one) but my main was G305 logitech. egg shape mice. but, 2 of them ... had the same issue: 2doble clic problem :S.

I USE A MOUSE WITH MY LEFT HAND HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII its so fun talking about this so i use IJKL for movement (same formation as wasd) for the mouse i used to use a right handed only mouse with side buttons(glorious model 0), and i got used to pressing both side buttons with my ring finger, and now it feels normal. i now got a mouse with side buttons on both sides (viper ultimate) and i kept my same ring finger binds (left side buttons) obviouly and i now have additional binds on my thumb side buttons (right side buttons) so while its strange its extremely useful to have four side buttons i can use, but im sure someone right handed wouldnt wind up getting used to pressing side buttons with their ring finger. im planning on getting the x2a for this reason :) hope you found this interesting

You should try swapping out the Raesha switches for Razer switches! Razer’s are binned differently and feel way better than the stock ones on the X2V2. Edit: The mouse sensitivity setting changes the Windows pointer sensitivity. If you raise or lower it and check Windows settings, it changes the same amount as the amount you change in Pulsar Fusion, though you may need to open and close settings for it to reflect.

Mouse Sensitivity is just remapping the OS Windows mouse sensitivity (you should leave it as default!), it's not unique to Pulsar. It also has no effect on games with Raw Input because that bypasses the OS mouse sensitivity.

I’m curious how this works if it remaps windows sensitive since I regularly use multiple mice through out the day. What other mice have you seen with this feature? I have like 20+ mice behind me and I haven’t seen anyone else use it yet

Kinda disappointed in the accessories game when it comes to Pulsar. Lamzu in comparison, includes extra feet, grips and dust covers in addition to the 1k dongle and usb cable (which is of the same quality), and Lamzu does that at a lower weight and price.

@@TheRageAcademy I wish i could speak on behalf of other lefties but I'm the only leftie I personally know in terms of mouse usage 😅 I grew up learning to do basically everything with my right hand, except holding a mouse. I don't think any left handed mouse user is doing this by choice, we were just not being corrected by anyone while having first contact with a computer. So yes, I'm using WASD with the right hand and mouse on the left side of the keyboard. The major downside of this is that smaller desks + full size keyboards lead to some strange body postures since both WASD and mouse are on the left side of the desk. The thing that sucks the most is trying to find a left handed mouse, since no one is producing left handed ergonomic mice. Our best shot are ambidextrous mice with removable side buttons such as Pulsar XA2

@alex4593 you’re probably the most normal lefty I’ve seen. There was a guy I’d game with in my teens who would rebind wasd to the arrow keys. He’d then use the mouse in the left hand UNDER the keyboard and hold it at a 90 degree angle pointing right. Crazy stuff

One time when we were younger, we were playing the game Risk. He attacked me front Greenland with his whole army. Somehow I managed to defend and defeat all his troops. The same lefty dude flipped the risk board and shouted, “THIS GAME TAKES NO SKILL.”. Then proceeded to walk home. About 6-8 miles. That was 20 years ago…

I use macros! They improve my quality of life by providing some kick ass anti recoil, slow walk, and crouching so fast I look like I’m seizing.

I really hate these overpriced mice. Most of that cost is just pure profit to them. The sound of that Pulsar mouse doesn't sound any better than just a cheap mouse. The competition in gaming mice is very competitive. Nothing here convinced me to pay more for this than any others out there.

That’s what I’m saying bro. Getting the 3395 sensor, 4k, the weight, and the shape for $100 is really good considering Razer and Logitech cuck us with $150+ costs
