Bhai GME is a convertion course from mechnical engineering to marine engineer. I have few know people whom have done there course from an IMS GOA they have good companies linked up with them like MMSI, Fleet, Synergy. I suggest you find a suitable company first and then find where they hire there trainee from. That would be a better plan instead of finding the institute and finding a job later
Its called a UMS class ship in which we have panels in engineers cabin to monitor the parameters. If any fault it will come on the panel in the cabin and we can attend that issue.
No no nothing like that he was littlr shy when i was making video. Instead he only insisted to make video properly and made me take retakes so that it shows that he was working
Thank you for sharing this very insightful inspection of an oil tanker. I have never been on a boat of any style. I knew of a man who was a chef on a Container ship but he never spoke of his 40+ years on board
Hey i watched your videos it's really impressive and detailed. My brother is also trying for the same profession. I just wanted to know how the network works there. And how you communicate with family and friends? Are you still on board and in which country or you are back home?
Hello thanks for the liking the video. For the network at times its there on ship at times its not and even if its there it will be little slow. And i am onboard now and now sailing to houston
@@lokiriderr so it's must be very difficult to stay in touch with your closed ones, as you cannot call them or text them regularly. How you manage on the daily basis? How you communicate being on sail?
@@rajdeepmishra9782 at starting of the career it was difficult but with time we get used to low internet speed and try to contact through mail or only text when on sail.
@@lokiriderr hats off to all the seafarers, this profession may look all fancy from the outside but only you you people know what you all go through. And this might be strange to you as me being a stranger asking you, I hope you doing all fine?
Hello I watched your videos and it is really very informative. My son has a very keen interest in joining merchant navy. Approx how many months you are supposed to be on board? And currently which country are you in? And recently how many months have you been sailing ? Keep making such videos. It’s helpful
Thanks for the compliment really keep me motivated to make more such videos. As for your first question the contract period various from rank to rank and company to company but a standard contarct period is 4 months for senior officers 6 months for junior officers and 9 months for crew.currently i am sailing in european ports so country change almost every week. And my last sailing was of about 7 months
I dont have any habit which spoils my health. And it was sunday and we dont have work on sunday. If you are seafare then surly you will know how rare it is to get a hoilday onboard vessel. Was just showing the build of the vessel.
You are COMPLETELY WRONG if you think that there is HOLIDAY onboard. Is the 2nd mate chief mate resting on SUNDAY ? Does the CHIEF COOK stop cooking because its a Sunday? This attitude and thinking is the detriment of all indian sea farerers . Better work than to make insipid videos .
Yes pirates are real but they dont match as the movie pirates of the caribbean show. Now a days they are much more advanced and they dont travel in big ships now a days they come in small boat. If you want to see the real pirates of present days watch " captain phillips " in that movie the pirates shows is the pirates of present days. Hope i answered your question
