Man I want one of these so bad. It'd be pretty much perfect, wouldn't even need a heat lamp or anything since that's about room temperature for me anyways. Plus I've been actively wanting to do a big bioactive enclosure where there's some small fish like that in a pond inside of it. Just would have to cover the pond a bit so it could eat and it'd end up being so perfect for me!.
What's your name from lizards... I'm calling you...a Savannah monitor he says"hi, how are you doing today Are you having fun?" he's doing because he pretty chill to jump and go hide somewhere
I have a 6 foot tall china cabinet conversion A filtered tank in the bottom Loaded with branches Vines 6" ecoearth substrate in remaining bottom I wish for a pair
Yes, two is a minimum. They are very social so to have only one will be a bit recklessly. My experiences is that to have three will only work if the two are female. They are not always nice and friendly to each other when it comes to food, if the food is something they really like they will chase others away from the food, if it is just food then less troubles. They are nice and easy to deal with, they are active in the day time too. They are not smart or clever animals, they do not take a lot of care about their offspring compare to other rodents I have.
I've raised one from a hatchling 3 years ago. I still have him. You have to be on top of every little thing. It's a hard species to keep, but it's a very fruitful experience.
@@ayoq2dailyit's because some species are saltwater and freshwater. Saltwater species can be acclimated to freshwater and still lay eggs but the eggs won't hatch.
Got a beautiful 5pk variety of premium nerites including orange zebra horned, o rings ...all acclimated and joined their 2 tiger nerites that were already in the 55g. I wish they lived a lot longer. They're the best algae eater of any invert hands down. Not to mention stunning
I have 2 tiger nerites in my 55g, buy I just ordered 5 more nerites in a variety pack...some horned, red racers, etc...sellers choice. I just wish someone could sex them No one I can find at any pet store can tell males from females. I hate seeing eggs laying around
No but It'll need a proper indoor setup. I also suggest you have a backup option for heat or a place to take it if your power or furnace goes out in winter.
