I got a savanna monitor from you guys couple weeks ago on Sunday at the reptile expo in Anaheim and he’s doing very well he’s pretty chill but every now and then he will jump and go hide somewhere and I have to try to get him out of the corner then he tries to bite me
Leave him be let him adapt. Only socializing he needs in the beginning is just feeding. U will stress him out and he will always look at u as a threat if u continue.
My baby savanna is hissy, I’ve tried to calm him/her down but it doesn’t really help. I try not to put my hand in the enclosure, but I got to change the water
No but It'll need a proper indoor setup. I also suggest you have a backup option for heat or a place to take it if your power or furnace goes out in winter.
