I think I’d love to swap my 1987 187 Bumble with a 150 Johnson Faststrike for one rigged out to fish ReelFoot, TN and Millwood lake, AR and Reservoirs and lakes tournaments in twelve states again! 😎✌️
Az west coast? I mean it's landlocked but sure, it's "close enough". It's like saying Kentucky's on the east coast, it's not... they're both landlocked. 😂😂 It's literally a 3 hour drive from either to their nearest respective coasts. Great video though! Thank you!!!
I wouldn't mind to see something like this with a Cuddy Cabin option. a lightweight, molded, plastic cabin that you could mount on the front of the boat. thats about 7' long, with a door, 3 windows, and maybe a solar panel or 2 on top. Go boating for the day, beach, or tie up, then rather then try and set up a tent, especially in area's where you aren't allowed to tent camp... slide into the cabin, open the windows, and sleep... Also if you get something like a heavy rain storm or such, you can beach tie off and have a place to hide out the storm. perfect for a single person boat/trips... then you can just remove the cabin part and turn it back to a dedicated fishing boat.
Just found this video and the completion video. I have this boat and plan on restoring just about the same. Thank you for your work! May hit you up for future questions.
I use those gel packs you put in the freezer. You can put em on the chair your sitting on, under your shirt or around the neck. Keeps me from sweating so much in the summer heat.
If anyone needs aluminum look for a metal recycle center. I use Seaton Metals in Athens Tn. but there should be something in your area. I paid $1.25 per pound last week. The price does vary but it's by far the cheapest. My boat is a 1985 16' Lowe with the original 40 hp white Johnson named the Super Pickle. It has two 9" Humminbirds w/ 360 and two 12" Garmins w/ LiveScope. I can run a long time on 6 gallons, top speed is about 32 mph but I cruise around 27ish.

@@TinyBoatNation the new power pole trolling motor gives it a run for its money. The minn kota quest is just lipstick on a pig, but we can agree to disagree.
Those are all Marine grade nylon connectors. I wouldn’t recommend them for saltwater, but there are no problems with freshwater applications. You can use either nylon or heat connectors in these cases
on the brushed camo sheets that i have seen is it wise to lay the sheet with grain sideways (vertical)? i can avoid having to cut a 40x80 if i lay grain vertical but horizontal it will need to have multiple sheets if that makes sense?
