Yes, it’s definitely a lot more affordable! A lot of these same houses would be 3-4x more expensive if they were placed within the middle of Silicon Valley
This is such an insightful video on Downtown San Jose! The new developments and the shift in the area are really exciting. It's incredible to see how much the city is evolving and adapting to modern needs. With all these new changes, do you think Downtown San Jose is becoming more appealing to young professionals, or is it still a better fit for families looking to settle down? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the type of community that's emerging here!
Wow, this is such an insightful video on Milpitas real estate! 🏡 You’ve really done a great job breaking down the pros and cons, and I love how you’ve highlighted the top neighborhoods in such detail. It's clear that anyone looking to move to Milpitas in 2024 will find this guide incredibly helpful. Your expertise in Bay Area real estate truly shines through in this video. 🙌 Can’t wait to see more content like this.
Fantastic video, Austin! 🎉 The way you broke down the pros and cons of living in Milpitas is super insightful, and the neighborhood guide is just what I needed. It's clear you've put a lot of effort into this. I'm curious, with all the changes happening in 2024, which neighborhood do you think will see the most growth in Milpitas? Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Happy it helps - I would expect the most growth in Milpitas to be toward the neighborhoods center and south - this has appreciated the most the past 5 years, anything closer to Silicon Valley will always appreciate!
@@LifeSFBayArea Thanks for the insight, Austin! It makes sense that the areas closer to Silicon Valley would see significant appreciation. It's fascinating to see how the dynamics are shifting, especially in the center and south of Milpitas. I'll definitely keep an eye on those neighborhoods. Looking forward to more of your content!
Great point, Austin! The transformation of Milpitas over the years is fascinating. Do you think the Parktown development has played a significant role in making Milpitas more appealing to new families, or are there other factors that have contributed to its growth? Always appreciate your deep insights!
To an extent yes - but generally it’s because the rest of Santa Clara county is very expensive - even 10 years it was the one of the more affordable neighborhoods in Silicon Valley so naturally it became more appealing to young families looking to get in the real estate market
I think one of the key highlights for Milpitas is their parktown development model. SFRs were built around large parks. But yeah, it's come a long way since the 90s. It was much more lower middle class back then.
Fantastic video, Austin! Your insights on Fremont’s real estate market are spot-on and incredibly helpful for anyone considering a move to the Bay Area. The neighborhood breakdowns are especially useful for understanding what makes Fremont such a great place to live in 2024. Keep up the amazing work!❤❤
Awesome video, Austin! You’ve really captured the essence of living in Fremont and the key aspects of the real estate market. Do you think Fremont's real estate market will remain competitive in 2024, especially with so many people eyeing the Bay Area for relocation? Keep up the great work!
Yes it will definitely remain competitive for the foreseeable future with its lower price point here in Silicon Valley and with new developments! - however generally there is a slight dip October -December across the Bay Area due to less buyers during that time
Hi! I’m not sure what exactly you are asking - these are 2 very different products. Are you trying to sell a house? Buy a house? Feel free to email me if you want to keep it private
Great video, Austin! I’m curious-when it comes to the pros and cons of living in the Bay Area, do you think the advantages have shifted in recent years due to the changing job market and housing trends?
It has shifted a bit, as unfortunately layoffs are unfortunately more common especially in the tech, but I can’t imagine a mass exodus of tech companies leaving the Bay Area, that would be a colossal mistake on behalf our local government. The low housing inventory is going to be ongoing problem in the area, so Bay Area real estate will remain expensive but if you can enter the market you can definitely build a lot of equity! Hope this helps
You did a great job breaking down the pros and cons of living in the Bay Area. Do you think the benefits of living there still outweigh the high cost of living, especially for someone moving from a more affordable state?
Happy you found the video helpful! - as for your question, I can't really give you a good answer without additional context regarding your situation - BUT I can say from my personal experience, everyone I knew who grew up here still wants to live here - even knowing their $ can get more in terms of housing in other states. Also people I do know who didn't grow up here and live here now as a young professional - truly enjoy living here! After all, a house is just part of the experience of living somewhere - so I think people are willing to sacrifice some square footage to enjoy the other "Pros" the Bay Area has to offer - hope this helps - feel free to contact me if you have more personal/specific questions!
@@LifeSFBayArea Thanks for sharing your personal experience, Austin! It’s insightful to hear how both long-time residents and newcomers feel about the Bay Area. You make a great point about the overall lifestyle and experience being just as important as the cost of housing.
Great video and tips Austin! Do you have any advice on how first-time homebuyers can best prepare financially to avoid these pitfalls? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Glad you found it helpful! as for your question I’m not sure what exactly you mean, the 5 mistakes to avoid aren’t really related to preparing financially. Are you perhaps asking in the context of getting a loan?
@@LifeSFBayArea Thanks for the reply, Austin! Yes, I was thinking more along the lines of how first-time buyers can financially prepare themselves to avoid common mistakes, especially when it comes to securing a loan. Any tips on budgeting or managing finances before applying for a loan would be really helpful
@@JohnWeber-lk4vw To secure the best possible rate for your loan, you definitely want to take care of your credit score- also avoid starting huge loans/changing jobs. Feel free to contact me if you have more personal specific questions!
To secure the best possible rate for your loan - I would first suggest to take care of your credit score, also if you can avoid taking on more loans such as not buying a car, changing jobs during the time you apply for a loan that would help as well. Feel free to contact me if you have more personal/specific questions!

Hi Sir, Your youtube video content is really good. but views and subscribers are much lower. To increase subscribers and views, you need to do channel SEO meaning your videos are not fully SEO. SEO is not friendly to your title. The SEO score is very low. The main reason why videos go viral is because of video SEO and organic promotion. If you do SEO and promotion then lots of views and subscribers will come to your channel and you will be able to monetize your channel in a few days. I can help you.
1. highest taxes in the nation 2. highest home prices in the nation 3. rampant crime 4. lowest affordability (unless you're in tech) 5. too many people Everything you mentioned is also available in other states. Look at TX, WA, NC, GA, AZ
@@LifeSFBayArea You should address everything he listed in a video. Because if you don't your video just seems like gaslighting. Imagine moving to Cali based on your recommendation and then becoming a victim of a horrible crime. You should really shed some light on the rampant Crime. Is it really Still safe to live in SF? As a fellow Taiwanese American myself who was also a youtuber , trying to be vague and gloss over the truth while having skin in the game as a real estate sales guy. you'll come off as a greasy snake. I left California in 2016 for Vegas. and Vegas is booming. their building the 2nd Hollywood here and many Cali chains have moved over, 85C, Daiso, Din Tai Fung. I have an auntie in San Jose, her restaurant has been robbed at gun point twice. its never happened in the 40 years they've been in San Jose. idk about bay area but I know LA. 5 towns alhambra Monterey park, rosemead, temple city, Arcadia is still livable. but there is some homelessness there now. But it used to be 0 in the big 5 Chinese towns. Santa Anita Mall is dead, and many businesses are boarded up. you are young Maybe you're better off moving to a safer place and selling real estate in safer places to people with a clean conscience. You're literally trying to sell a home from the #1 moved out of state in the US. why swim against the current?
@@masonlee5453 Appreciate the feedback and sharing your story - anyway I'm not trying to be intentionally vague/glossy - this video isn't a Pros and Cons of Living in the Bay Area (though I actually made one on this channel as I acknowledge there are downsides) - but rather my personal story on why I decided to continue to live in the Bay Area. Like every area, there are certainly neighborhoods here that are unsafe that I try to avoid as well - but I don't think putting a fear mongering blanket statement saying "Avoid THIS place!" like the media often does is really an accurate picture of what it's really like to live there either... after all these are places where I don't personally live in, and also they are still home to someone... (fyi - you're deeply mistaken if you think everyone is trying to move out of the Bay Area - there are many people desperately bidding to get houses, and inventory is still very low)
Looks like a really nice unit. The gas heater and especially the gas range is really unfortunate though. It's 2024 and those things should be well on the way out. Gas is less environmentally friendly, creates extra fire/explosion hazards in the whole complex, and the combustion from the gas stove is not the best for health. Those things could all be changed in one person's particular unit but it would create a fair amount extra expense. But in the big scheme of thing it's not that much extra relative to the purchase price of these.
Nice places, but I wish they would have made the kitchens a little bigger with more counter space. And of course 3 levels discourages most of the 45+ demographic that won't want that for older-age horizon planning.
Thank you!- hope you found the video helpful, as for your question, yes you can tear and build down but you need apply for a permit from the city in Mountain View to do so
