1:12 the grip of the one at the left is much better than the one at the right. you are way stronger at that position. even though the performer fails at a higher level i think you should always use that grip
8:33 Second guy from the right (our right) was not happy. Please don't dump the bar into the spotters' arms for no reason other than to get out from under it
Excellent work from the spotting team, superb. I wish the judges would be more strict with squat form rules. The way they push their hips back on the way up should be banned, its not even a squat at that point.
I notice very few people here have decent morphology for squat. Long femur, Long femur, Long femur, Long femur, Long femur.... Form breakdown is a pain to watch but it happens when you are in true max effort situation
Lifters who dump the bar over their head should be disqualified from the competition... It's so so dangerous for the spotters. Lifters should stay with the bar. Massive props to these guys
If a lifter dosen't stay with the bar do they get disqualified? Seems like it puts the spotters in danger. Also these spotters are awesome! Some of these lifters would have been in trouble at other meets with spotters not as good as these guys are.
It should lead to a warning, and after 2 warnings a lifter might get disqualified. Unless you see that's it's very deliberate of the lifter to put the spotters in danger, if so they may be disqualified immediately. Doubt this ever really happens though.
