Slight typo in the title. It’s actually Clark township which is in Mackinac county in Michigans upper peninsula approx 25 miles east of Mackinac bridge.
I love your seat covers!!! Where did you get them?? Great tour - love what you did with your bed, how you have the option for a table. I think I'm going to do that too! I'm jsut starting my promaster city build.
I hope you took time evough to tour one of the copper mines while you were there . I found the information very informative and when we did it . The temp was over 80°F but in the mine it was 50°F or so . I laughed when they sead you might want a jacket or coat . But after an hour I was happy I grabbed it , till my wife wanted it .
I was always in a hurry to get home and to take a break when only a short time into the long ride didn’t seem practical so never stopped to explore the falls.
Love it! I have a Promaster city too..not sure what I’m gonna do with it.. now I have a small ikea bed and leather cube in it.. I need carpet and insulation for the weather.. exciting way to live🩶
Yes I did! I bought them to fit the width and then shortened them by cutting off the edging, taking off the length I needed to and then sewed the edging back on by hand. It wasn’t difficult and a simple running stitch will do. They are a life-saver here in Michigan when the mosquitoes can get quite bad. Good luck to you!
Not all foam seen in our waterways is from PFAS. It also occurs naturally from decaying plant matter. But we can all use a reminder to make better choices to protect our #PureMichigan.
Thanks for taking us along. I really enjoyed the view. I will be there in a couple of weeks. A tip for fire starting: a piece of flexible tubing doesn’t weigh much and coils away nicely and can be used to focus your breath on the fire. It really makes a huge difference and I don’t pass out nearly as often 😉
I commend you for a great video. You have brought back my childhood memories from when my parents would take us five kids on vacation trips to the U.P. I recall most of the places you show. I was the youngest now at seventy eight y.o. I still remember those sounds. Thank You so much.
Happy to have reminded you of some wonderful memories! The Keweenaw peninsula is quickly becoming a favorite spot of mine. I’ve been back a couple of times since this video and hope to get back there next summer.
Hello again! We are planning on heading west soon but until then really enjoy watching beautiful videos like this! The Narrows is definitely a place we want to go... What an amazing experience that must have been! Thanks for taking us along! 💙Terry and Terri
I hope you get the chance to hike the Narrows! If you do, make sure to rent the appropriate equipment from the outfitters just outside the park. The wooden hiking sticks they rent are an absolute must!
Hello Lisa!! We always enjoy meeting fellow RU-vidrs and explorers! We are from WI but love exploring the U.P.! We have not gotten to explor lower MI yet but it sure looks gorgeous!! Such a peaceful night by the fire - thanks for sharing!! 💙Terry and Terri
I hope you get the chance to visit the L.P. The “tip of the mitt” or the upper portion of the lower peninsula is a unique blend of the U.P. mixed with bigger resort towns like Mackinaw City, Traverse City, Petoskey, Cheboygan, Charlevoix, Leland and Frankfort. I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few. Looks like I need to put together some videos of trips to those places!
having been to the upper penn. it is truly one of the great wonders of the earth. much of it mostly unspoiled by urban sprawl.. Lake superior will take your breath away with the sheer size and beauty of the wonderful big beast of a inland sea!!
I drove thru the state of Michigan on I-75 heading north to the UP over the Big Mac bridge or Mighty Mac as the locals call the bridge. the UP residents are called "the Yoopers," and they of course, don't live under the bridge as people in the lower peninsula do.
Wow 10 in 30.days this is going to be a great adventure! Mesa Verde is high on our list to visit. It is just so unique compared to other parks but we hope to visit as many as we can. We have hiked to several fire lookouts and enjoy similar adventures. Great jib filming and editing and fantastic narration! We are new subscribers and supporters of your channel. Wishing you more great adventures and a growing channel!! Hope we see you on the road one day Just Ramblin Around!!
Beautiful! The U.P. has been on my bucket list for awhile. Our friends here in Tennessee think we’re crazy, because everyone here goes to Florida for vacation, but I’m from Florida and my wife is from SoCal, so we’ve both been to thousands of beaches. We want to see the northern ones.
The U.P. is one of my favorite places! Just came back from Isle Royale (video coming soon) and my parents are originally from the U.P. so we spent many summers there. Along with beautiful beaches there are many waterfalls and great views especially along Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and the Porcupine Mountains. You’ll have plenty of awesome places to choose from when you decide to visit. I truly love my home state of Michigan and hope to share more of my travels soon.
