I enjoyed watching your video it was informative. Thx for the info ! I’ve never had ingrown hair under my arms or private area but I want a lighter color I’m about your complexion what would you recommend just for lightening the areas ?
Thanks love! 💕 Try Kojic acid soap! You may get some great results. But honestly everyone is darker in certain areas and it's rare for the skin to be one even tone especially under the arms and intimate areas.
Hii! Ik im a little late but im 16 going on 17 this year I was wondering if you could explain what schooling/training you had to do to become a waxer I got professionally waxed for 6-7months and have been waxing myself for about a year and have waxed my sister as well I really enjoy waxing so I want to peruse it as a carrier LMK girl 💗💗💗
13:27 woah, that’s the one I went to! Chosen Healthcare Institute in CLT. Classes were every day from 9am-3pm for 5 weeks. Our instructor didnt play at ALL 🤣
Hi! I loved your video I'm an esthetician too <3 I have a question about the tendskin and pfb vanish, I've heard sometimes it can make your skin darker when you first begin or once you stop using them? Have you or any of your clients experienced that?
Thank you love!💞& it's normal. The melanin gets pulled to the epidermis before it begins to shed and lighten. This happens with lasers and other things to but not with everyone. Most times I don't see that clients have this issue. Usually they're fine and see results rather quickly🙂
This video was so helpful!! Would you recommend alternating the days that you use a physical exfoliant and chemical exfoliant? Or, can you physically exfoliate in the shower, and then immediately follow up with the tend skin solution after the shower? Thank you in advance! 😊
I took my CNA course back in 2022 but was too big headed to sit for the exam. This past year I've been working in Direct Care as a DSP in a Residential setting and decided it's time to join the nursing train. I'm currently working and studying as a Medical Assistant to get certified in Phlebotomy and EKG. I'm planning on enrolling in LPN school in Fall of 2025 God willing 🙏.
Hey love, I am 28yrs old & will be 29 this year. I reenrolled in school fall’ 2023 to finish completing my science pre-reqs. I enrolled in my CNA class starting 06/04. I’ll be done 07/13. This fall’ 2024 I will be taking medical terminology + A&P 1. I plan to apply this fall to both the LPN and RN program at my school which starts a new cohort Spring ‘2025. I took English in 2017 + Math 2018 and then Fall 2023 Chemistry and Spring 2024 Biology. My school only has 4 pre-reqs and 3 co-reqs which are A&P 1+2 and MicroBio. I took the CNA course before back in 06/2021 and passed however I did not sit for the state boards because I was afraid to fail. So here we are. Praying that it’s all in God’s plan for me and that I’m alignment with on this journey! Also wishing you nothing but SUCCESS on your journey as well! I will be following your journey and will start documenting my journey once CNA school starts. ❤️
Yes! Thank you for sharing your story. I'm so excited for you! God definitely has a plan and everything goes the way it's supposed to go💞💞Thanks for the support & following my journey🫶🏾
I’m in my mid 30’s and I really hope I don’t get a class where I’m the only person up there in age =[ I’m a mom of 3 so I’m currently saving up to pay for the program.
It just depends on what you want to do! Esthetics is skin only. Cosmetology is everything. Cosmology school is mostly hair but once you're licensed in most states you can do most things which is a great benefit. Cosmetology was best for me!💞
I’m a pre-nursing student. I’m trying to start the program spring 2025 like you. I’ve already completed and passed A&P. I will start my Cna class this summer
I'm currently in Esthetician school, i finish this summer! Nervous for the major test, but excited for what is to come after. Slowly building my content on other platforms, and hopefully eventually on RU-vid. Love your transparency, and happy I came across your channel.
Once we got in class our teacher wasn't really strict. I was able to wear my nose ring and everything until clinical. The only thing she didn't play about was our nails lol
@@jordanesthetics I believe I have to wear silicone tunnles bc my ears are so big. But that’s ab it. I’m glad she wasn’t strict. Was it difficult doing these classes?
I appreciate you for sharing this video. I enjoyed it and I think this information was very helpful. I am supposed to be going back to school for Nurse aide and I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for the helpful tips!! 😊
Your clients are a vibe. Shoot I wanted to hear the tea too! 😂 And of corse I have a question. Three actually: 1. Do you ever use soft wax for anything? 2. Is there a technique to having your clients book their next appointment in advance? Were you always comfortable doing that or is it more of a normal thing with your loyal clients? 3. This is from another video, but I don’t remember which one. You had mentioned a slow season in waxing. When is that exactly and does it vary? Also, does it really affect your business? Loving your content. Keep the videos coming!
I really enjoyed the part where you talked about the wax temperature. I think a short form video explaining and demonstrating how to tell when your wax is good versus too hot would be super helpful. I've been trying to find one that explains it like you did for weeks!
Okay I'll add this to my list of IG reels! Lol I'm glad it helped you. I know when I first started I struggled with this so I tried to make it simple and easy to figure out💓
New subscriber here! I am thoroughly enjoying your content. It's rare that I would watch a 30+ minute video on RU-vid so you know it's good! I really loved how you showed and gave tips during your your session with a 1st time client. I have two questions! 1. When it comes to brows, did you learn those skills and techniques in esthetician school or did you have to take additional brow courses after graduating? 2. I'm from NY as well but am considering moving to NC to be closer to my grandmothers. I always hear things like "there's room for everyone," but in your experience, do you think there's room for more solo estheticians (or waxers specifically) to be successful in the Charlotte area or Gastonia (not sure if you've heard of that town, but it's about 30 minutes from Charlotte? Thank you!
Thank you so much!✨💕🥹So I learned brows on my own. I never took any courses or trainings. They came pretty natural to me! & I do believe there's room for everyone honestly. Charlotte is a big city. And even Gastonia, it's a small town but they probably need good waxers there because people always drive to Charlotte for services so to me, you can work almost anywhere & be successful. One of my teachers used to tell me, people wanna feel beautiful everywhere right!✨
Hey girl! I am going to be starting my cna classes next month of top of me finishing up my bachelors degree. I noticed you mentioned you were still in school as well. Are you adjusting? Good luck with cna school!
Hey girl! So I'm pretty much fully adjusted now. My CNA is almost over. I start clinical soon so I've gotten used to balancing but it's honestly still challenging having to work and do school but I've learned time management is everything. I also got a less than desirable class time lol so next semester my classes will be early so I have more wiggle room in my days. It's a pretty easy program though; just very hands on and learning skills you're not used to yet. But you'll be fine! & thank you💓
So what if I’m not local but can I pay for shipping lol with the micro current device or anything you want to giveaway I’m currently a student in Florida for dual license aesthetician and massage therapist. I’ve been doing research on micro current and it looks fun and it gives instant results.
Currently was discharged from my LPN program due to being sick and missed 4 days with a doctors note!!! Started my CNA class this week right after getting kicked, class is only 4 weeks. I have all my prereqs for RN but failed the teas 7. UGHHH what a journey! But my determination is real!! We all have our story! Good luck on yours xo
