Hang on I stopped carrying a penknife years ago because it was over three and a half inches. I’ve carried it for years as a useful tool . Now they’re banning machetes and swords. The reason the authorities are doing this is because they have lost control. They are bloody useless, useless bloody police who prefer to police traffic offences than actual crimes. The Police who basically ignored a gang of Muslims openly carrying weapons. Bringing in new laws doesn’t make our streets safer. Bring in a competent single tiered police force and , sift out the ludicrously out of touch commissioners.
Why can't they pass "Ethel's Law" to stop the needless and avoidable deaths caused by Government policy causing 4,000 old ladies to freeze to death for the lack of Winter Fuel Allowance. Stop cowardly and callous Labour from making old ladies live and die in poverty. #Ethel'sLaw
Nothing will be done about the exponentially increasing number of people that are culturally more likely to want to resolve their issues with swords obviously. The problem is the pieces of metal, not the people that hold them. Everyone just magically converts to 'British values' as soon as they set foot on our magic soil.
There is no need for these weapons to be on sale but this smacks of political window dressing in the wider context of addressing the scourge of "bladed crime". Their carrying/use in public can be categorised under "offensive weapon" and dealt with as such. But wasn't Labour not that vocal on backing stop and search?? This smacks of gesture politics from them.

I don't think the Tories took away the the lifeline his policy for net zero should be on China and India. Put an embargo on them. We produce nearly zero to enable China and India to keep producing.
