From The Waters Edge TV is a fishing channel set up to offer fishing tips and advice, with the aim of producing some informative, interesting and most importantly entertaining angling programmes.
We try and cover everything from coarse, match and specimen fishing in freshwater and both beach and boat fishing in saltwater.

I remember them but I was terrible at casting and I ended up loosing t multiple rigs in trees and on islands Then i had a break bought a new feeder rod for maggot feeder and I used a small cage but after practice I got better now 90% of my fishing is on newer method feeder...
@@PlottingAnEscape 👎 had the rod with prawn out all weekend and caught nothing. The other rod I rotated pellets, maggots and worms and caught tench, Bream and one nice 9lb/10lb common
That's how I started my fishing life. Fishing a farm pond lift float style for Tench and Crucian carp at the age of 12. I'm 50 this year and still love this kind of fishing. It's not as popular as it was once though.
I sometomes wished i could put pics in comments. I always seems to get a robin chilling on my rods or gear. Must know we drop alot of seed, maggot, crumb. Cool birds. One of the less annoying ones.......screw you, canada geese.
Tench and crucians - two of my favourite fish to catch! My local fishery has lots of decent crucians although most people are aiming for commons or mirrors. When i started fishing there i caught a couple of crucians that were close to 2 pounds and didnt think anything of it - I thought they were all that size! Didnt know they liked meat though - did you use spam?
