I had the previous generation. Was a fire hazard from day one amongst other issues. Since I was stationed in Japan they wouldn’t help me more than a phone call. When that help didn’t work, they told me to wait until I got stateside. I waited, when I got back they told me that they weren’t going to help me at all

The swing set is holding up great. I just got done staining again for the season. Our kids definitely still play in it all the time. It has not lost its appeal, we have trampoline and some how that has lost its appeal.

The plum gunks in the ash pot and apparently around the hopper because it sounds like it's struggling to spin. It also flames out. I tried on 3 different cooks and this happened each time. I cleaned my pellet grill in between each cook. I had problems each time. I thought it was my grill about to fail. I finally decided to go back to my previous pellet. It never happened again. I went to the reviews and noticed others having the same problems with pictures posted. I don't know if there are bad batches or what. I ordered mine from Home Depot. I will never use these again because my experience with them wasn't good at all.
I'm having the same issues with the almond wood ones. These pellets smell like you're burning actual logs more than any other pellet I've used, but they fill up the fire pot so fast. The "clinkers" that build up even on short cooks is insane. After a 45 min cook for chicken thighs, my fire pot will be filled up to the auger, and I've even seen pellets still in the auger burnt, which means I was on the verge of the fire back feeding into my hopper and catching my whole grill on fire. Not worth destroying a $600 grill over a $20 bag of pellets.
@MH-gy6qv I tried another brand recently that did the same thing Smokin Pecan Pellets.....They aren't as bad as the Knotty Wood pellets but they jam and smother out with inconsistent temps. I want to support these smaller companies because I love their ideas. They need to figure out how to compound their pellets where they won't clog and gunk.
