Thank you kind sir for teaching me that there is a girly way to set the machine to 4 balls. I had no idea! My husband doesn't allow such behaviour in our household of course. He's a real man. Like you. When you get a break from your knuckle dragging, could you kindly make another video insulting women in subtle ways ensuring our exclusion from this sport? God bless you manly manly man. Stay manly.
Spooky are notorious for bad QC. You're lucky you only had issues with one of them. Stern all the way particularly for resale. JW is a players pin, not for the novice. Thanks for the video
I went to a pinball show recently with just about every game under the sun (including John Wick the weekend it first came out) and this game just thrilled me to no end. I really liked it a lot and am not sure why it gets so much hate. It’s a fun game!
Designer here. 300 were initially planned. 100 were ACTUALLY made and sold. 75 with the dark gray powder and 25 with the purple as seen in this vid. Also, if your Elroy shot isn't smooth, take off the plastic above it and the metal guides and reform them into a nice, smooth bend. Spooky didn't have much attention to detail when bending that metal. Almost every one I've ever worked on needed reformed. Enjoy.
I just ordered the John Wick Premium for my mancave. I like it most out of all others in same price bucket (and yes I give it a try and also compared it to others, the visual side and also the game play is great). Of course Elton is totally different league, but if you are not really into his music then it gets too expensive. Looney Tunes is nice, when you have kids (which I have), but it is maybe a next flipper to purchase if you have enough room (and if meanwhile kids does not get too old). TCM even my wife would not like to play (for me it would not be problem but I am buying it for all of us). This is just my opinion from someone who never played flippers.
Being new to pinball ownership, if there’s one things Ie learned is don’t take reviews too seriously. The right game for you is the one that you’re drawn too. The one that has the theme and gameplay that you’re interested in is always a good choice regardless of reviews. Play them all and pick the one that resonates with you.
Ive always thought too many toys take away from the games focus. I dont need a action figure glued to the inside of the machine to enjoy pinball. Its cheesy
I've played one, I think it's just boring. I really think it's worse that it was marketed towards pinball enthusiasts who typically like difficult games in a home environment, which Thunderbirds definitely is not.
I have to go with Ghostbusters, difficult is different from poorly made. Walking Dead is difficult, Iron Maiden is difficult, Jurassic Park is difficult, but you can learn and master them. Ghostbusters though, you can try but you’ll just get drained thanks to every shot being a danger shot
If you don't already have a Godzilla machine and want one then Yes it's fantastic! If you already bought your Pro, Pre or LE machine though, then probably not. I think its freaking cool
I own the Premium and wouldnt swap but if i had a choice i would take the black and white. Its pretty damn sharp looking.EIther way its an amazing shooting game
I played a John Wick Pro on location, when you loop the game and hit it with the flipper it creates air balls. I must have hit the glass 5-6 times in one ball.
Totally agree with Enzo's comments about Jaws vs Godzilla. I love Jaws and I do not love Godzilla. I also agree that trolls (and competitors) will trash any machine they can.
I think it looks cool but as a future buyer (I don’t have GZ but will have it) I still think the color version is better looking. They took out way too much color. I likely will stick with the premium when I’m able, unless I see the 70th in person and my jaw drops
I think this machine looks stunning. I don't have a Godzilla but if I was in the market this would be the version 0 question. Its an art piece for your home. I think this is going to do very well for Stern.
