For me I kept the case foam. I didn't like how muted the poly fill made my m1 v3 sound, it was too muted. For some reason the case foam sounded louder. It may be that I used too much polyfill
I hope you can help me with this question. I can’t decide whether I should use polyfill like in your builds (which sound really nice) or if I should use car dampening material like kilmat/noico instead. Which one would sound better you think? What would be the differences? Thanks a lot bro
Dude I’m in disbelief right now. I have the same keyboard kit (my gmk 67 is black tho), the same switches (mine are a little different cuz they are the v3 pros), almost the same mods, and I even have the same key cap font (but they are blue). The funny thing is that I built mine way before I saw this video and it’s crazy how we have almost the same specs!
Just a suggestion. If you made more build videos, like the ones you did for the Monsgeek M1 and the GMK67 instead of just sound test videos, I think your channel would grow much faster. And you would probably get sponsors.
thats the main problem lol, you havev unbubed switches and you dont have modded the stabs, those are probably the most important step to make a keyboard "creamy" and also the keycaps do affect the sound
Hi! Do you think replacing stock ixPE foams with regular anti static PE foam could make boards better sounding? Been thinking if I should replace the ixPE on my Hi75
I was going to go EVA til I found out that it can damage plastic over time due to its gassing, which can also be poisonous. Polyfoam is a bit messy but I'm pretty satisfied with out my KB came out.
yo im planning on building this exact same keyboard like how you did, but do you still recommend the yellow switches? or now something else 7 months later?
i'm pretty sure those teflon pads are meant to be used on the case instead of the stabilizers, the ones i received are properly shaped to fit around the screws.
Great video ! Recommanded by RU-vid as i was looking for the GMK67 and the qulity of your videos is really cool +1 sub. I love the sound of your board. But i have two questions : - What's the keycap set you use ? - As it's a wireless board, with the polyfill isn't there any risk of fire with the battery ? Thank you !
Ang ganda ng tunog 😭 ito po ba reco nyo na switches for the M1 to sound creamy and thocky at the same time or do have any are other switches na pwede ireco? Tysm po hehe
