GMK67 Timelapse Build w/ Sound Test

ABSOLUTLY INSANE! I just got all the parts for my GMK67, I put only the switches (KTT KANG WHITES) and XDA keycaps but I didnt mod anything else. I was waiting to find a good reference video like this to actually help me do it since this is literally my first ever custom keyboard. Thank you so much and btw I am really loving this board I cant wait to see what more I can do with it. Also this thing is so hard to open but I guess I have no choice I will figure out how to open it lol.

Dude I’m in disbelief right now. I have the same keyboard kit (my gmk 67 is black tho), the same switches (mine are a little different cuz they are the v3 pros), almost the same mods, and I even have the same key cap font (but they are blue). The funny thing is that I built mine way before I saw this video and it’s crazy how we have almost the same specs!

hi there, i ordered gmk67 with akko cream yellow v3 PRO with SA profile keycap, and further research i founded that the PRO version is not as thocky as non PRO one as it is more higher pitch clack sound, i have not yet seen someone else build a keyboard with gmk67 with the cream yellow v3 PRO, so im just wondering with all that fact, gmk67, cream yellow v3 pro and SA keycap, with mods, will my keyboard come out as thock deep sound?

Hey where do I can buy the PE foam that goes between the plate and pcb?

Insane sound u get after these mods, but 1 question: Why dont u install de Poron pcb foam stock? Did you remove it?

Would it be any different if I did the plumber's mod instead of Holee mod?

Hey there! I thought I had PE foam all this time, but it turns out I've been using stretch foam, which seems to be cotton-based, lol! When you purchase from your store, does it specifically mention PE foam sheets? I swear, finding this stuff in France is ridiculously challenging, haha. Cheers

This board is very easy to open. You just need two mini crowbars.

Hey i was just wondering if your number 2 key is speech marks instead of @ because mine are the other way around. Secondly, the key | \ does # instead.

I'm wondering, for the stabilizer's wire did you use krytox or dielectric grease?

I’m looking to make a build like this I have pe foam tape and all but what are stab pads? It looks like bandaids but I don’t exactly know what they are, and would you recomend the stab pad mod?

Do you think EVA foam would work fine? I am curious do to the fact I have EVA foam laying around and do not want to put it to waste.
