I usually call it Metal since it’s the “same” definition but modernized & makes more sense in way to define the different sub genres but I personally prefer saying Heavy Metal lol Idk, it sounds cooler to me even if it’s technically silly & also because my favorite Metal band of all time; BABYMETAL is a Japanese play word on Heavy Metal phonetic when pronounced by Japanese people, so Hevu~imetaru as they say (Heavy Metal) is close or equal to Beb~īmetaru (BABYMETAL).
Nice reaction, and we need more Draconian please!😀 Hard to pick just one song to suggestion, so maybe 2 of my favourites: Morphine cloud and Pale tortured blue.
@ArsenicandEspressoPodcast there is a band that was metal they kind of soft disbanded called gfm or bette--r known as Gold, frankincense and myrrh they have a song that's ironic it's to be cherry but by a metal band called smile if you could check it out. Sorry I don't know if you take suggestions for reacting to a video or leat a suggestion watching the music video or your own time away from camera but it was a interesting song and music video
@ArsenicandEspressoPodcast have seen them three times, first time in 2014 second time was 2017 and most recent time was there 20 years exile tour the second leg when they came here and played at the crocodile, I saw Ryan's brother in the crowd hanging with all us actually for the first two or three songs. Wanted to see them at the neumos war and peace tour 2019 a year partially before COVID. What ones did you see them at, was it older ones before the one when I first saw them in 2014? They are Washington State based, I kind of wish I had been getting all their merch from the beginning. It kind of makes me cringe of why they have fans pay for pictures and getting things signed been since 2019 tour, because I used to tell people I went with the super cool thing is they don't make the fans pay for stuff, which is really cool. But I mean if they want to make a little more profit for future CDs and tours and merch I guess it's ok.
This is just a segment of a bigger song. Nyphetamine (Overdose) is much more representative of their catalogue. It also gives this part of the song context lyrically.
2 facts about Lovebites- They didn’t invent Heavy Metal, they just perfected it🤘 Your mind won’t believe what your eyes are seeing 😯 A word about the Bloodstock show, the audio may not be the best, but you can tell by their energy that they were there to prove that they play better than anyone else !!! Wolfpack Forever 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
This song kills me inside, but at the same time provides so much comfort. When I first saw this I was at work, and watched the video during my 15. The scene in the video where the woman sits with the elderly lady on the bed I lost it. My grandmother lives in Canada (I’m in the US) and is currently deteriorating from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was always a very active, and outgoing person. Seeing this disease eat away at that is just awful to watch. What makes it even harder is being so far away, and her not having access to see my kids. She’s in a nursing home, and knowing that she’s isolated like that hurts a lot. This song just encapsulates that feeling of watching a loved one fade away, and having to watch it happen. The song is beautiful while at the same time, very dark. It’s a situation that will tare you up on the inside, but it’s a part of life sadly.
You still think Claudia is better than Tatiana? Claudia is amazing I admit to it (and I love her vocals), but Tatiana is a god (she is in Rob Halford territory).
Jim Jones had everyone drink the kool-aid, and if they didn't he had them shot. Then after seeing what happened with the Cyanide, he took the cowards way out with a bullet so he wouldn't have to feel the pain he saw his "congregation" felt.
I love the fact that Skynd never portrays the abuser/killer in the video, it's mainly the victims. sometimes you get a glimpse of the killers, but Skynd herself plays the evil/horror of the situation and that's why she synths her voice like that.
When I was in 4th grade, 9 at the time, I was playing laser tag with friends the night of columbine and the day after columbine, we were standing outside waiting to get on the buses, I must have forgot the laser tag gun in my book bag or forgot to take it out, but I took it out while standing in the crowd and was playing with it or whatever and the principle pulled me into the school, the cops were called, my mom was called and the entire school board had a meeting with me and my mom and they made a example of me and expelled me from school for the last 80 days of school. I ended up being held back a year and they wouldn't tell me why I was being expelled for having a toy. I had no ideal columbine happened before all this happened, I didn't even know it happened at all until later in life. Crazy how things like this happen, but now that I'm older and know what happened, I understand why it happened.
