Are you wondering about the meaning behind the title of my channel? It is from a favorite poem called "A Bridge Across Time" written by Darlene Stevens about her great great grandmother. The last stanza of the poem is:
I'll live my life and when it's done I'll live again in those to come. For I'm a bridge from she to me; From those that were, to those to be.
Each one of us can be a bridge across time, sharing our experiences, stories, history, with those to come. This channel is my small way of building a bridge between those who love travel, adventure, and sharing with strangers they have yet to meet.
First time we have commented but have been watching about a year now. Sorry for the loss of your brother, all of my siblings have passed on as well. Your channel was suggested by an old army buddy because we had thought about van travel. My wife and I look forward to your videos and enjoy watching the old ones cast on to our tv for a bigger view and better sound. I know you have heard this before but your productions are fantastic and professional with your music selections matching the video so well. You both seem to be living life to the fullest and we hope you continue to post new videos. We have decided that extended van travel is not for us. We live in SW Washington so we have seen familiar sights in your travels. We are transplants from the NE about 46 years ago but are Northwesterners now. Thank you for great videos keep on sampling ice cream as you travel. My favorite song is "The Parting Glass" by Shaun Davey from Waking Ned Devine.
@@FromShetoMe I am thanking of using snads on the side windshield moldings and snapping them in place. The windshield is fairly flat and I intend to have a cut out for the mirror with a snap or Velcro at the top of the cut out. I, of course am the idea person, my wife will actually be doing all the sewing!

Congrats on your new rig! I have a 2022 Transit PW Ontour 2.2. I average 16.5 have seen 19 mpg. Keep your foot out of those twin turbo chargers. Happy trails
Sincerest condolences to you and your family. Was wondering if you noticed a different ride in the new van in regards to cross winds? The wind assist on our Sprinter takes some getting used to but I have been wondering if other vans drive a bit smoother during high cross wind events that we have experienced during our travels. A favorite song would be "Meet Me in Heaven", by Johnny Cash.
Back on the road in the new van! Very happy it’s built the way you want it to be. I am sorry I had to depart MT early to get to my sisters, would have been nice to catch up along the way….Again, I am sorry about Dave’s passing. @@FromShetoMe I remember going to Harrisburg from the Ohio border and back, twice to pick up our grandchildren. The EZ pass replenishment was $140.00. I was flabbergasted; we did nothing else.

I am so very sorry. I love the healing power of music, and appreciate the beautiful tribute to your brother, Dave. I love the old hymns, but am also appreciating some new "hymns" as well. This might seem weird, but Arlo always brings me peace when I need it. Gabriel’s Mother’s Highway Ballad #16 Blues, Arlo Guthrie. Beautiful guitar work makes me think of the picture of your brother in the chair looking over the mountain. I listened to you and bought one of his camping tables several years ago.
