When I was 15 years old, I started tinkering on cars with only basic tools, a gravel driveway, and knowledge from the internet. Since then, I have grown into what I like to call a 'Weekender'. This means that I am no professional but give me enough time on a weekend and I'll figure out just about any problem whether it’s with my car or renovations to my garage.
Since I started working on cars, I have always tried to document my process with posting pictures on social media or making entries on forums like Honda-tech. I finally decided to start my RU-vid endeavor and video log my progress. If you enjoy the progress I make in my videos, please subscribe and also grab some merch and help support future builds for the channel!
Send me something useful or funny :D to the following address: Weekender Garage PO Box 46 Gladeville, TN 37090
What would be the functional difference between a 5 vs 6 speed? I'm in the market for my first Miata and am not sure of.the pros and cons of 5 vs 6 speed. For stock or for a turbo kit later on
Functionality difference would be the 6 speed gives you that extra cruise gear so you aren't doing 4k rpms when doing 75/80mph. Main reason you see people switch from 5 to 6 speed is because the 5 speed is known to only handle a little bit of boost. I blew up 2 5 speeds at the track before switching to 6 speed.
All the Fords have fckn problems with Ac/Heat. All sorts of problems: blower problems, air blowing inside dashboard, fuses burning out, heat stops working, and woof! Am done with Fords after 3 different vehicles: Flex, F150 and Transit. All were relatively low mileage, and all had same problems. You fix one thing and then anotger thing goes bad
So for the tranny mount that u had all automatic have to cut and weld in the manual one? Or was it because yours was Rhd I’m asking for my auto Lhd thank u
14:21 I explained why and showed some examples Basically the RT-4WD transmission chassis bracket sits higher than the automatic transmission chassis bracket. It's the same for LHD and RHD. I highly recommend doing it with the engine out of the car so you can get better access to weld hah
Tough call. I’d say get them presentable then sell. Don’t go spending a whole bunch of time/money if you don’t need to. Not sure if it’s worth it or how well it’s worked in the past but you could always do a shirt/merch drop? Seems to work for others when they need a little extra cash. Whatever you do, we’re here for it!
I say get the wagon, truck, hatch put back together/running to sell them, I wouldn’t really install suspension/wheels if your just going to sell it, unless you think that bring in a little more profit
Put some time into both bro, get them both nice and then sell them. It’ll pay off with how long it’ll take to get them sold and how much you get. But that’s crazy bro congrats! Can’t wait to see the videos🫶🏽
Do u no where I can get mine wrapped at I literally bought mine just after looking at this video and the parts department says they look at u . I got the last one
