Hi. Nice video, quite helpful. I will be travelling from Mexico with my son for the festival. No camping for this 52 old guy. We will be staying at a hotel at Burton upon Trent. Any tips/ideas for coming and going each day? Specially going back each night. Is it easy to find transportation?
Hey! Awesome that you’re travelling so far, and what a great dad to be taking your son too. If you take a look at the Bloodstock 2024 map - top right you will see the taxi rank. If you follow the yellow dotted line, this will lead you from the entrance of the festival to where you need to be. You will come out of the main gates, cross a road, and follow that long path all the way right until you reach the car park, where taxi pickup should be clearly marked. Have a great time guys! 🤘
It’s completely up to you where you camp in general. If you want to go to blue, and there’s spaces, you camp in blue. If you want to camp in yellow, and there’s spaces, you camp in yellow etc.
@@SMTV__ Oh sweet I had no idea. I've only been to Download once and its was DL20 but we didn't camp. I've got a full 5 day camping ticket for next year though! So excited for it
Done Park Farm in 2018 for the first time. Don’t think I could do General again now. But it has meant missing a few Downloads since as couldn’t afford it. Got my Park Farm ticket for 2025 though. Can’t wait for BOA this year, line up is 🔥
Doing RIP for the first time in 2025 and can’t wait! Me and my other half have been going for years and never done it before so we are excited for the change 🤘🏻
am i the only person who enjoys all the walking, you get to see so much and have lots of laughs on the way. plus sober up on way back so dont feel like crap next day
I did camping plus this year, well worth the extra over general camping with the toilets and proper showers. Also 24/7 food stall on site. Walking distance wasn’t bad either. Was looking at RIP for next year, not sure if it’s worth it over camping plus
I did Sleepy Hollow this year and I'm back there next year too. Having areas you can retreat back to(especially Park Farm) for a rest and chillout made it worthwhile for me. Early bird tickets were up at 650 but they lasted all of 2 mins before they went up to the current price.
Mate, I did General in 2018 and 2019, then RIP in 2022 and 2023 and back at general this year and honestly.... if it wasn't for the money I'd be back at RIP 200%! Distance, parking, shower/toilettes, glass bottles, pitch size, gigs on the night before... I don't see anything really better in General... but I guess it'll be general again in 2025. Not that I can't afford it, but the Mrs... well.... yeah... the Mrs...
Tbf, this looks well worth the money. Next year I’m going for the TT, which I’ve mentioned many times on the dischord, but for 2026 I think I’ll be flying solo and this could well be the option I go for. Nice one Stu.

@@SMTV__ nice one, I’ll have a watch. I’ve only ever dossed on the campervan site at download, but having done general at other smaller festivals I have to say I can’t see me ever doing it at download!! I bet the mud was horrific this year…
Definitely regretting missing it this year. Think I've only missed 4 or 5 since 2005 but this year few of our regular crowd was going and the lineup wasn't that great for me. Living it vicariously through vlogs to make me feel better, so thanks for yours! Next year will be a banger though :)

Didn’t go to Download this year due to the line up,first time not gone for about 15 years and miss my favourite band Parkway! Have seen them over 20 times all over the place and seen them in small venues.
