Welcome to my channel. I make RU-vid content exploring the ups and downs, ins and outs of running a small business selling goods online. I buy mostly pre-used, pre-loved, second hand goods and products and do my best to find them a new home while making a nice profit at the same time. I sell mostly through Ebay but I'm looking to expand to other sales platforms such as Amazon, Facebook & Instagram in the near future.
I'm from the Fylde Coast in North West England, more specifically from Blackpool, Lancashire.
I put out at least 1-2 videos every week. I try and capture all elements of reselling goods online, the good and the bad.
I'm always happy to answer any questions any new resellers may have or anyone looking at starting an online business. The quickest way to get a reply is to just leave a comment on any video and I will get back to you or alternatively you can email me on fyldecoastflips@gmail.com
Great pickups. I need to try both those carboots. QUESTION - When you show the solds at the end, any chance you can leave the screenshots on screen for longer? Especially when there are a more than one comparison.
Mate it's really really tricky watching the camera movement and effects. Kind of "Blair Witch" makes me feel nauseous to be honest with you. Prefer the standard video without all the effects but it's my personal experience, just saying. Love your videos, just don't want to stop watching them.
@@tarat26 I’ve changed my camera now. My last few have been with the new camera. That camera is really good for some things. For instance it meant I never missed a pick up because it films 360 and therefore I can change the angle to whatever I like. Most go pro style cameras you just can’t do that with. Anyway the new one I’m using is ahead of its time. True 4K, well built and takes half the time to edit the footage. Thanks for watching 👍
Interesting about the national trust mugs I picked up a load recently. Sold them all individually for between £10-£14 plus postage. I guess it must depend on design? Or am I just greedy and want the maximum amount I can get?! 😂to be fair, they all sold first month of listing.
Really cool finds Mike . 😊 And that’s it as you mentioned at the end , you just have to keep going turn up and put yourself in front of these items. Each week is different but we keep on going . I hear often! there’s nothing to source anymore at Car Boots or Charity shops , like ! what do people expect their gunna walk out each day and week with constant amazing items .
@@dancaddick5679 the song is called ‘Top of the Morning’. I can’t think who it’s by, I’ll try and remember and will update. I use must from Epidemic Sound. It’s a paid music service. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
@@nickiramsay2421 Mike said in a reply to a previous question that it didn’t smell of animal dung - but I can’t see how thousands of frightened animals shut up in pens for hours wouldn’t leave an odour…
@@rosemarymee I hadn’t even thought of the possible smell, I was just thinking how awkward it is to get in and out of the pens when you wanted to see the items that people are selling especially when other people are queuing to get into them as well 😳
@@treetomb8560 I know what you mean. It’s pretty awkward at times. Someone who watches actually implied I should be taking a trolly/ wagon round! Can you imagine a trolly somewhere like that! Madness. Thanks for watching 👍
@rosemarymee - I have cleaned many Le Creuset saucepans. However, you will not get them to look new again. First of all don't use any abrasives of any kind, it will only take off the enamel. The way I clean my Le Creuset saucepans - I use bleach. Fill the saucepan with a mix of water and a high conserate of bleach, to the rim of the saucepan. Leave for about 3 days, then empty, and wash in soapy water. Depending on how dirty the pans are, it should take off a lot of the dirt. This is the method I use, and it works for me. And now for the caveat - if you try this method it's at your own risk.
@@rosemarymee - Even the pan cleaning stuff Le Creuset sell on their website to clean their pans with is no guarantee to get them to look spick and span again. The art is to thoroughly clean them every time you've used them.
Mike, that was me who mentioned the lion cookie jar! It is worth money because it was the same one they had in Only Fools and Horses, I sold mine for £300, paid £2 and didn’t know when I picked it up it was worth anything, I just thought it was cute and inspired by you I bought it. Bizarrely the week after I picked another one up without the lid and sold that for about £75 🎉
@@Lomie32 yes that’s right. I thought it was you but wasn’t 100%. It was a while back wasn’t it. Hopefully I’ll find one one day. I’ve had a few similar now. It’s mad how somethings you find these unusual things back to back. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
How dare you not pick up those vintage bar ashrays that were on the table 😆😂. Joke . I never like saying you should have or shouldn’t have . If i was filming i would see lots that i miss . I get times like that mate where i need that switch off from reselling it’s really important. Hope you had some nice family time . Lovely finds and always enjoy watching. 😎
So glad I watched this video I have one of those amber plant pots and never knew much about it but been keeping it as so odd. Also the vintage coffee set next to it could have been worth getting depending on pattern.
Great egg cup buy- I would have done the same. It'll be fun to go through them and find those nice surprise gems! And lovely glass plant pots- nice vintage evocative stuff- I'm glad you did well with them! What a fun video! can't wait for hte next one!
Been a subscriber for a while now and just want to say I love your videos. Please don't change the format, find it so much better than others where you can watch what your buying then at the end see what they go for. The tune is pretty catchy too, sometimes find myself humming it lol. Keep up the good work, sure is giving me inspiration to look at china/porcelain
I stopped watching year's ago when Hamilton was winning everything, they really need to make a sport where all the cars are the same and make it all about the drivers instead, let's see who has the talent
