Love the ceramics stuff, you are who mainly turned me on to it and it's now paying my mortgage. Got 4 boxes of ceramics at auction the other day for 30 quid, mainly as I spotted some hornsea in it. Probably my best score ever, one box has a complete Clarice cliff dinner service which was hidden under some horrific Lenox plates. And the. Tucked away in the corner was a Ridgway homemaker teapot

I have only been doing This reselling since April so I'm still in the beginning of my little journey. I live in a tiny flat so I am somewhat restricted to what I can buy but I am enjoying it, learning and doing what I can. My problem is I buy a lot of filler items and it just sits there or doesn't get the views so that is my current obstacle that I need to figure out

Thanks for watching. Hope you have a great run up to Christmas. The filler items are important too but I know what you mean and if you’ve not much room to store things you have to be extra careful. It’s very hard to leave the little less profitable items isn’t it when you know there’s money to be had.

@@fyldecoastflips yes for sure, I should really focus on buying higher value items but I'm not really at that stage yet. I do good with niche things like brass but my pricing is either too generous or too much xd. But I guess it'll take time

@@Cadey_Nation don't be afraid to take it back to the boot sale if it's hanging around too long. I normally do a couple a month as most of my buying is done in bulk from auction and the lower end items go to the boot sale, normally take anywhere between 150 and 200 on stuff that would just get donated or tipped otherwise and owes me nothing as the good bits out of the lots have already sold and put me in profit

Great advice this I'm doing a couple next year to move on sticky stock or stock where profit has already been made on bundles etc . Re put some money back into the pot to go out again 😊 .

Hi .I'm around 5 years into reselling and still learning you will be surprised what sales and don't . Youl never stop learning. It takes time and you will get to a stage where you will leave certain items and find those items that does well for you . A great friend of mine once said you have to taste defeat to make winning taste that much sweeter . Wish you well on your journey.😊👍

Yep the same i put fragile tape on any item that's ceramic or delicate ! Because you want the buyer knowing you've did everything your end to ensure safe arrival of their item . Replying to the chaps question about starting reselling ( myself i started with capital behind me that i had from family and money i saved myself ) . I live at my mums since my Dad passed so i pay her rent etc from what i earn after taxes and fees etc . As Mike said each individuals situation and what they need income wise is different. And 100% agree mate there are channels out their that make out reselling its all easy plain sailing you'll get good weeks bad weeks ups and downs along the way ( and yeah you won't please everyone that's for sure . I sell mostly dvds and games so that royal mail price increase has hurt me hard, there's a lot of things it's not worth me selling now, they know they can get away with it as no other alternatives 😠

Haha 😂. I did wonder 😂. Best find was a hello kitty fender electric guitar and amp. Paid £15 for both. The amp went for about £50 and the guitar went for £700 over to somewhere in Scandinavia. Those sort of find rarely happen for me but there have been other good ones. Thanks for watching 🙂👍

I had something which really knocked me the other day. I sent a £46 electronic item and the buyer sent a photo of Detoll handwash saying they received that. It was the box I sent it in, so not a switch label but I do believe they were telling the truth as it did look like it was a damaged box which was re-wrapped. Either way, there is no protection through eBay from what I could tell. I made the mistake of sending it via Evri. So gutted as that £46 was the biggest sale I made so far and I had to refund it.

Sorry to hear that. Have you spoken to EBay on the phone (presuming it was through Ebay) and explained? I can’t say I’ve ever had that happen before so I’m not certain but I would have thought EBay would at least hear you out. And I would also contact the courier demanding an explanation. It’s difficult because you don’t know who is being truthful here. It could very well be the buyer even if you feel like it’s not them. I have never heard of a courier swapping out items, not once in my years. I have had a couple times In the distant past of empty boxes arriving though. I know it’s all a load of messing about that you really don’t want to have to do but these things are rare. Hope you get it sorted

Hi, we sell much the same as yourself. Question do you heat your shed in winter as apparently ceramics get crazed if too cold, do you have any experience or advice on this? Regards

I always find I sell alot via GSP to California USA. I'd imagine it's because everything is so expensive over there.

That’s it, certain things you can source locally to you may be crazy expensive elsewhere or might not even exist. I’ve done well a few times in the past buying certain toys then selling to countries where the toys haven’t come out yet. Thanks for watching 👍

Hi, thanks for watching. Very pleased if I’ve helped in any way. Try google image searching them with the google app (google lens.) if that doesn’t work then they are rare. Doesn’t necessarily mean they are worth loads but why not aim high, that’s what I say. You can always come down if little interest. Is it Ditto brand the flour one? Blue and white? Like the butter dish I sold? If so I’d aim pretty high. One in US up for £80 ish. Hope they do well for you 🙂👍

Hi Thank you for replying, yes the flour jar is Ditto, I found one sold on Etsy that sold for nearly £70.00, thought that was just an Etsy Price!! The one I have also has a little scoop, don't know if that would have been an original addition. I have tried Google with the Royal Winton, but only came up with flowery jars, will keep looking. How do you catalogue your stock and is the stuff in the boxes by alphabet

I write the location of everything in a book but also in the custom SKU section of every listing. The letters on the boxes are just random. Thanks for watching 🙂👍

@fyldecoastflips oh ok. I'm not professional reseller but I just put alphabetical lol C for Ceramics, T for trainers etc.
