wow... such insensitive comments on here. wow. Question: If this were your loved ones who died in this disaster, would you be making these same comments? No? Then please say something either construction and/or informative or STFU. Using the argument fallacy of relative privation (talking about other causes of death eg. KFC 🙄) is inbecilic. insensitive comments on here show how much you value the lives of others. No one on here commented on how sad this disaster was. Not one. What does that say about you?
No flies for me when I went. I dont understand those flies.. I have had that on more than 1 summit.. its weird.. they will gravitate to the highest point so just hold up your hand as high as you can.. such a weird thing.. no food up there flies!
If you really didnt want people to touch the tree (which isnt the oldest tree, you got fooled) then you wouldnt try to reveal its location. You're just seeking attention.
That's why you can't video the tree without showing yourself in frame along with it. This video isn't about trees and it's certainly not about the welfare of these trees. It's about you.
Perhaps time for an update; there are at least a couple of sailing channels in the process of switching over to custom built aluminum cats. Send me the money!
So I got the sensor.. funnily enough the generator is putting out! There is less O2 in the tent than the generator settings say their should be.. so even if there are leaks the generator is pumping a lot of N2. I wonder if thats cause Im already at 3000ft?

The quality was great. I had frustration with the C Clamp carabiner and removal of the poles at the bottom sleeve. Difficult to use for those point. I agree with the disappointment in no bug netting at the vent. Strange deletion. Safe journeys. Happy Trails.
Take down the coordinates and description. There is no reason for the general public to need access to one of the oldest trees in the world. No good will come of it. Thank you.
This is basically the route my dad takes when he drives to Oaxaca from California. He says its the safest and fastest way getting down there. Half the trip is on the US side, so he makes fast progress driving on better US roads. Also, gas is cheap/er in Texas. I haven't driven down to Oaxaca with my parents since I was a teenager decades ago. This Summer I will be driving my own vehicle into Mexico for the first time with my dad and my sister and her little family of 3, and we plan on crossing down in Laredo.

I’m sorry, sir, but you really don’t know what you’re talking about and it’s wrong to bash the men and women who guide and risk (and lose) their lives so you can at least have a shot at a summit.
