My favorite bird wasn't on here. But it's a quail. Bobwhite Quail. Sounds like they say Bob..Bob..Bob White! 😂 I was looking for the comment that said this video was the most American way to describe what a bird sounds. Cheeseburger and potato chips had me rolling.

The most important question about a smart bird feeder is the monthly cost of it's 'smartness'. Are there any at all with free AI or a reasonably priced lifetime AI?
Thanks for the update guys. I was surprised to see my late friend, Ron Pittaway, when I watched the video. I expect the finch report should be out very soon. As for Snowy Owls noted in the comments below, I hope there was some breeding activity in the Eastern Arctic or we will suffer through yet another dismal winter with few to none showing up in the East.
@@BrianMorin-kt6gy we never got to meet Ron but heard he was a great guy! Ryan Brady from the WDNR used to do a Snowy Owl forecast but I don’t think he’s done it the last few years.
I only feed birds to get the doves to visit… l don’t think they eat more than any larger bird (like grackles or blue jays) And definitely don’t compare to those greedy squirrels, lol.
Aww, wish it included the Eurasian Tree Sparrow. Been trying to understand their noises for a while but can't find many videos to describe their different noises. I often hear a long "chattering" noise that sounds like the bird is angry as hell lol. One video said it was the mating call but when I watch them, and they do that noise, they are usually fighting with each other over something.
Brilliant video, guys. This is quality stuff. Seeing birds during these periods is so special, as is witnessing visible migration. Thanks for producing great content. 🇬🇧
dichotomy: no nesting Snowy Owls found in Alaska and not much Lemming found. Will that force mature Snowy to migrate to south and appear like irruption?
@@DanOhPhotography it depends. If there are few birds but enough lemmings (even if it’s not many lemmings) they won’t need to move down. If there are more owls than available food sources, they will move further south.
