I need this monitor but QD-OLED, Glossy finish and thiner bottom edge for my simrig. And if possible without stand and built in speakers. I dont need it.
Vik do you know anything about the complaints people are saying about these monitors.. mainly the g60sd, that it has some crazy whining sound when set to max hz? Will you test the g60?
@@ViktorsReality Ahh I see. As yet the people over at rtings don't have any reviews for these panels, I'm assuming they will eventually. Would you recommend the g60d? There are so many now from Alienware Asus lg and now Samsung it's hard to know without a review score
Flickering is real with Gsync. Can't play with my RTX 4070TI. I had to return the screen. However, I have 2 LG 27GP850 screens with 180hz QHD IPS panels and I don't have this flickering problem. What a huge disappointment.

1st. THANK YOU for this video and comparison. 2nd. Yes, the QD-OLED looks better on some content. But the brightness of the mini-LED is very apparent. And I agree with you, the mini LED stands toe to toe with the more expensive QD-OLED on many scenes. I live in Canada and just ordered the mini LED Neo G8 for $999 (CAD) from Best Buy. The Alienware is currently on sale from Dell for $1349. We pay 13% tax where I live, so that $350 =$395. So the AW will cost me $1524 total while the Neo G8 cost me $1128. Difference of $399! So the question is, while in a direct side by side comparison the QD-OLED does look better clearer on SOME scenes, while the Neo G8 looks just as good or better on many scenes, does the QD-OLED justify a difference of $399 more? The OLED warranty from Dell will expire in 3 yrs, while the mini-led does not require it. So, I think for most people who don't have a QD-OLED beside them, the mini-led will be amazing for them. If the blooming is very noticeable for me, I will return the mini-led. BUT based on your excellent G7 vs G8 video from last year, i don't expect that to be an an issue and saving $399 def feels better too! 3rd. Your videos are among the very best I have seen on RU-vid! Thank you and keep it up.
Hi mate. I cannot decide what to do! I'm looking for monitor/s for gaming, with some content creating/watching movies and sports, so presumably I will want 2 monitors. Due to the downsides of oled, having 2 oleds seems a bad idea, but all the best monitors are oleds.. so I absolutely cannot think what I should buy, any ideas?
Regardless you get what you pay for especially in the world of tech. You can currenly get the samsung neo g8 open box at best buy for as low as 750. If you dont care about price point the oled is the choice but if you want to save more money the differences are subtle enough to go with Samsung IMO
I have a 32" curved wide screen and just purchased this 57" monitor. What stand are you using to mount both monitors? Your setup is exactly the one I'm going for! Please help me Victor! ❤️
You must have auto motion enabled. Lower it say to 5 or 2. Or 0 if you want artifacts removed completely. Game mode motion plus is less strong / faster but again up to you on how much you want .
The 27GS is way brighter. In both modes. Im abput tonunbox the Asus Glossy but from what I am seeing it is not as bright as the Matte AQDM or 27GS950. $650 is very good price for the LG.
@@ViktorsReality Thanks! It did seem like a good deal. Still on Newegg for that price with promo code. I'm currently using the KTC G27P6 and hoping it will blow it out of the water. The KTC limits brightness to 200 nits with ABL off.
