What's a great line when John says "No we need money first" the best answer you could give to an American press conference !

while i wasnt a huge fan of the very early stuff they did, the period between 1966 until they broke up in 1970, when they wrote some of the greatest songs the World will ever hear...just astonishing....no to mention the cultural impact they had around the World that really lasted almost 4 decades.

I've seen a clip or two of this but not so much...Man the press were some real stinkers...I'm sure the Beatles had alot of that back then. Now I know why Ringo did his little dance...He was thuming his nose at them...

Best reseption up till that point. A few months later their Australian tour drew the biggest crowds in the hundreds of thousands. Australia was starved for big acts in those days so when the Beatles arrived it was pandemonium

Elvis had to know his time as number one was over.Had he continued to seek out hit songs rather than do silly movies, he could have stayed relevant. The Beatles changed everything in music.

Elvis didn't like the Beatles, especially John. Elvis was pretty conservative and didn't care for Lennon's politics. He lobbied Nixon to get John deported.
