I have been trying to find out the way to group the beams and columns where some rules can be applied. Is there any way you can do that is etabs or csi detail. in csi detail there is an option called auto group but i cant find any table showing the groups csidetail created.

I drew only the grid of the building and i drew only one type of footing with same load condition in different grid point. Their displacement, bearing pressure is exactly same, but the slab design is totally different. HOW???
