Primary barrier to playing fab for me is just that Mondays and Wednesdays are permanently no go days for me and those are the days it tends to get played in my area
This helps a lot I only started playing like a month ago (started with the Part the Mistveil prerelease) and I now had two games against Nuu in CC where just turn one 13 damage and I tried to block as much as possible and then for the rest of the game I didn´t get a foot down also I never thought about pitching your good cards so you can draw them later for big turns so thank you
This was a really fantastic guide! I started playing league in beta, and when TFT first came out, was a little interested in it, but never really kept on it. Now, years later, I've decided to come back and try TFT again, but I'm just losing endlessly. When I watched your vid, I remembered several key strats that had just left my brain, and learned a ton more! Even better than that though, I REALLY appreciate how a high tier player can actually contextualize what it's like to be a noob when making recommendations and what to focus on. "You're not going to know this" "you're going to be tempted to do that." It's like you're in my brain lol. So being able to advise while *actually* being in the mindset of a new player is extremely helpful.
When I started looking into FAB about a year ago, it seemed to me that the wizard/illusionist class was just going to win every time. It is like blue/white control vs red deck wins in MTG. If they get established passed turn 4 and have any life game, control wins. I haven’t played much except with some blitz precons but plan on getting further into it. This video is great. Thanks.
I don’t even know how to play the game and when I looked at the iyslander card my first thought was “wow she’s pretty, I want to play her” and my second thought was “this looks busted and I don’t even know the rules” 😂 was sad but not surprised to discover the card was retired from the standard format
imagine verdance starts at something crazy like 20 or 25life... and her effects basically give really good healing output... so we run bullander 2.0 but we play all the cards that care about being less life than opponent :D not sure if it'll be my jam since it's not very wizard-y but yeah
Heartbeat of Candlehold. cost 1 gain 3 for a blue does not seem underrate. If it would also amp 3, that would be value 6 on a blue off tunic. too strong maybe. Perhaps whenever you gain life, put an energy counter. instant - remove 3 energy counters, amp 1.
I thunk they mentioned that they want to reserve the big spoilers for the in person world premiere and thay we wouldn't get many or important spoilers before that
Aurora's ability needs 2 resources and CLV is a yellow. Lightning's classical colour is yellow. I expect Aurora to be at least somewhat yellow focused.
so i just recently got into flesh and blood, and the first pack i got were 2 blitz decks from the heavy hitters was able to get Kayo (first one i actually played and i love him) and Olympia, i have yet to use knuckleheads ability, just cause theres a 1/3 chance its going to actually go well but im having a crap tone of fun with kayo, (i got 4 others, betsy, kassai, victor(the young one cause blitz) and rhinar) I know hardly anything about the different sets, but im liking heavy hitters lmao
Listening to you talk about FaB during LoR days always peaked my interest in the game. Seeing this just confirms that I should start with this new set releasing later - runeblade looks awesome.
Majin, if you like the art on Germinate check out the album cover of "Lungs" by Florence & the Machine. I'm almost *certain* it's a reference. Especially with the "Flor" in both their names.
