Don't quit Korban!! Also check the thumbnail-did you mean to put 1-1??? Frustrating game-Wimbledon came to take a point and make it scrappy and that's exactly what they did. We don't have enough players ready to really fight for it when it gets tough and the opponent is scrappy. It was a mentality issue not a playing issue yesterday. Diabate and Shepherd were brilliant. The ref was shocking.

I don't think the game was that bad, fine margins as I've said before, most teams in this league are one goal away from delight or devastation every week, City included. Keep calm and carry on doing what you do so well. I had 2 Arriva buses to Bradford fail to turn up yesterday but bit the bullet and got to the game in the end, it keeps my expectations low but hopeful like watching City. Don’t know where to start. None of it about the match. I can sympathise with the situation I would have done RU-vid but it’s too much effort and when you’re not monetised it’s easy to ask why the f do it. Too much of a slog and in my experience of RU-vid (different channel I had), it’s a slog getting to 1k and it’s always the shittest video that goes viral and the ones where the most effort that goes in that are slow. It’s frustrating for so many reasons. As for the supermarket our transfer policy has felt very much like buying Asda own brand and being told Asda own brand tea bags are as good as Yorkshire Tea, and own brand beans are as good as Heinz Baked Beans. And you get so used to using own brand that you convince yourself that it’s true. Just like with City the own brand is not crap, and it seems like we are as good as the brands like Notts County, MK Dons etc have. But in reality are we? I mean we’ve saved money, but is someone coming into our house looking at our food and saying we are cheap skates? And is the own brand washing powder really going to last as long as a branded one? When we buy Primark sportswear instead of Under Armour, Nike or Adidas, can other people tell? Yes! And do they fall apart in February instead of being in top condition for May? You hope they won’t, but you strongly suspect they will. But like Vadaine Oliver, are we really going to be able to get some money back in the long term selling him on eBay? And that’s how I feel about our transfer policy and our season so far, especially the 0-0. On the surface of it, Asda own brand stuff, along with some Primark clothing we think nobody will notice, looks to be working, but not quite giving you that same feeling you get from the proper brands. When we played MK Dons it felt like the own brand washing powder we are using for our Primark clothes was not just AS GOOD, but it’s actually better. But now after a few washes, the stitching is starting to come apart, and there’s already a few holes starting to develop which might me we need to go to Primark again in January to replace some of the clothes we have only just bought. Yes, the clothes are much cheaper at Primark, but in the long term is it costing us more than it would have had we bought Nike or Under Armour in the first place? Notice I’m not saying Gucci, we can’t afford Haaland, but we know we could probably stretch our budget to a mid range pair of Nike football boots. You might even play better just because you’re not worried about the opposition taking the piss out of your football booots that look like they’re ready for the bin after 8 matches. And that’s kind of where I am with City. Can we get into the playoffs wearing Primark football boots? Of course we can! But there’s a risk we might end up playing that later games in or socks that also have big holes in them instead. For anyone reading this comment thinking wtf is he going on about. Read this again in May and it will probably make more sense then. 😂

Frustrating game today I admit and not a great advert for League 2 but the ref massively contributed to it being a poor game with his poor decisions especially 4 us with 2 clear pens not given and countless fouls going unpunished... Harrogate next week and we need to be more ruthless with our finishing to take it out of the refs hands and get the 3pts we need after only picking a draw up today... Just on way home now korburn. Absaloute garbage pal. 2 defenders now injured. The referee was an absaloute disgrace. He was ridiculous. He wasnt even trying to hid the fact he was favourable of walsall. I know we moan about refs but this guy was shcoking. Jamie walker was the only one who looked like creating anything. Totally disagree. Our distribution of the ball at times was superb. Diamante was awesome. In fact our defence looked really comfortable. We just got unlucky. That''s football. We absolutely battered theme and played really well. More of that and we will definitely be in the mix for promotion.

ey up! Thought your comments were spot on. Also, HL showed a bit of class yesterday. A few times I saw him chatting to our players. Going and greeting the fans. The result. Seems strangely different from years gone by. It was a game that I think would have lost last season, season before that. We didn't play particularly well, but managed to get all three points. There seems to be more belief than there has been in previous seasons. Ref was shocking, (again). Should have been two penalties without a doubt. I'm sure he was at a different game to me. Squad depth looks much better than previously. We actually have players to make a difference on the bench. Nice to see Cookie grab a brace against CUFC. Thought he looked up for it yesterday. SAM. I think this was the kind of win we need to be consistent at at home. Grinding out a result and create the myth again of fortress valley parade. Important for our chances that we consistently win at home.
Men & Hair is a funny thing. In my experience your hair either starts going grey or falling out at a very young age. We all kind of associate it with old age but for me, it starts in your 20’s. Strangely enough you don’t see it as often with women. Just a random observation about hair. Funny moment with Lewis applauding the Kop, can’t decide if he’s very nice or very clever. Get the fans back on side = stay confident and it doesn’t impact your game negatively. I don’t have any issues with Lewis, but I wouldn’t treat him the same way I did for 90 mins in real life. It was football, tactics that’s all.
